I have received an email saying that, as I haven't picked up a parcel within 48 hours I can now pick it up at Footscray Post Office. 1. I've had no notification to say there was a parcel. 2. Isn't 48 hours a bit short notice? 3. I live in Perth, WA, so Footscray is a tad out of the way. Tracking # is 99700197093177067. Thanks.

  • Pamela Smith I've now received an email thanking me for picking the parcel up. In Footscray. I'm still in Perth so, unless I used some beaming technology that I wasn't aware of, I can't work out how I got there and back in a couple of hours.

    Or is it some fucking crime network, playing pinch the parcels, adding a "tax" to the general income or what? And the useless fucks on this website have had 4 hours to attend to the matter and NOTHING has been fucking done? This is total bullshit. This is Australia Post's customer service to a fucking T. 
     
    OK bringing this up to the issue of accountability there must be at least 10 useless people involved in this. 

    The first one who decided that it should go to Footsgray in Victoria, instead of Perth Western Australia. 

    The second one is the person in the Footscray post office, who decided that they should email you about this, without checking the address in the process. 

    Then there are the people on this site, who, while they say "Our customer care team will be here to help you during business hours Mon-Fri" - and they are not and don't - so there are at least several of them - who sat on their arses and did NOTHING. 

    Then there is the IDIOT at the post office in Footscray, who handed your parcel to Fucknose Who. 

    Then we get the people in Austraiia Posts Human Relations Dept, who are actually STUPID enough to hire people who are clueless and don't give a fuck, and then there are the managers of Australia Post - who are just stamp lickers promoted out of the post offices, into places they are out of the way... 

    Behind this ONE monumental series of fuck ups, are a whole heap of incompetent people, who fuck things up and don't give a fuck...... 

    Fire the lot of them. Say fuck you, Sue them to get your parcel back or it's cost replacement and send all your parcels through couriers, instead of imbeceils.

Awwww Australia Post.... Terrific.  People are so impressed with the service given by so many people in Australia Post.... The universal "Attempted Delivery" card being placed in the mail box, when the driver not only didn't bring the parcel, they never even came and knocked on the door.... Outrageous prices........ Parcels and letters going missing..... Registered mail never arriving, or getting signed for by the contractor and disappearing.... The tracking system that doesn't..... Mail taking 3 weeks to be sent from one suburb to the next......  What could be politely described as the "Go fuck yourself" policies and customer service when things are damaged or stolen.....  Packages "that could not be delivered", that end up in some Post Office,  far away, and the staff there,don't give a shit, can't find it and stuff goes missing and the customers get the run around etc... Post Offices + PO Boxes = Pffft.

We do not have a street delivery where we are. The local PO has told us that anything not addressed to our PO Box will no longer be put into our box but will be kept inside behind the counter as per Australia Post advice.  When I rang Australia Post to query this they said it is  NOT the case in an area where there is no street delivery (which is what we were told when we first got a PO Box) and it is the local PO who have made this decision, not Austpost. We took the PO Box in the first place so we could actually get our mail because we couldn't get to the shop when it was open! This new policy will affect a number of customers.
