How in the fuck can you explain THIS
On wednesday the 1st May 2013, at about 7am, I got my email saying my package was on bored with driver for delivery today.
At 10:30am, while dropping my son to playschool I get a second email, attempted delivery/carded. I went home to go get my card, I cant find it anywhere, I then headed to my local post office, where my package was to be returned to.
I said I can not find my card anywhere but have my licence and tracking code, they told me this would be fine as long as my name and address on my ID match my
package, and that Bonythons driver isn't back yet and to come back in a couple hours.
At about 1:30 I get my third email, my package has just been scanned Into Tuggeranong's facility. No later then 10 minutes after receiving this email I arrive at Australia Post Tuggeranong Business Center.
I give my tracking number, name and address, nobody can find my package anywhere. I waited an hour while 3-4 people searched. After an hour one lady took my mobile phone number and told me thag they would call me as soon as they could locate my missing package. No phone call.
Thursday 2nd May 2013, I arrived at Tuggeranong BC about midday, the ladys were still looking for my package, and one lady was on the phone trying to find any information to its wear abouts.
They sent me home reassuring me that they are deffently still looking and would call me. At 2:30 I get another email informing me my package has just been signed for/deliverd from Tuggeranong BC.
Straight after receiving this email I call Australia Posts 6 digit number and inform the lady I am speaking too about the prior events as I mentioned above.
She asked for my tracking code, which I give to her, she then asks for my details which I confirm, and they match what she has on her computer. She then lets me know that about 5 minutes ago somebody named C.Collions signed for my package at Tuggeranong BC.
I do not know anybody named C.Collions. and do not understand how somebody without correct ID can sign for another persons package.
I was told to ask my sender to lodge an investigation*, which I have since done. I will also fill out a missing items form, and ask my sender to also. I hope this can all be sorted and I can finally receive my package I had been waiting patently for. Thank you.
* as a footnote, who is the arsehole, who decided that the recipient, has to ASK the sender, to ASK someone (duh!) in Australia Post, to investigate, issues like this?
And why do all the idiot staff in the complaints department insist on doing this proceedure - it has NOTHING to do with the sender....
