The Week Ending 17 May 2013 Part 1 of 2
Skip the yellow bit if you have read it before.... this is the updated and revised version. Then we go onto the Complaints left on the Australia Post Facebook Page.
You OWN the contract - not Australia Post.
That's right - your totally in charge of it.
You buy the goods from a supplier.
You commission them to send it to you - you pay for the postage - the agent acts on your behalf.
Australia Post enters into an agreement to send you, your package, as a third party to the contract.
The contract is to take it from the point of engagement, to the point of delivery.
And they promptly:
a) Fail to deliver it on time and
a i) Refuse to supply a replacement satchel etc. or
b) Lose it.
c) Steal it.
d) Send / Deliver it to Osama in Tora Bora, Bumfuck Nowhere, Afghanistan, instead of your place Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
e) Hand it to Fucknose Who across the counter, in Footscray Melbourne, when the delivery address is Perth Western Australia.
f) Refuse to deliver it to your door as per the contract - by ducking the issue with a "Please come to the post office to pick it up" card... after neither bringing the parcel to deliver or knocking on your door (when you are home) before carding you....
Then nail them on it.
If the folks at the local agency / post office refuse to serve you, then go to the national call center, and if they refuse to serve you, and they serve up their professional stone walling antics, by refusing to escalate the call to someone who can deal with the issues (middle management), or the middle managers - if you actually can get hold of them - and they are never their, they refuse to reply to the messages by calling you back etc....
Then go to this list of the following people at the end of this write up, and if they want to play games and bounce you around, take the issue to the local Fair Trading tribunal.
Depending upon the ciurcumstances, give them 10 minutes, 1 hour or 24 hour time slots to act upon any matter - if they saying they are going to do it - and if they don't or won't, then escalate it.
If they just bullshit you from the outset - escalate the issue straight away.
Bouncing you around, means doing things like telling you, that you must contact the sender, to get them, to start chasing the issue of Australia Post, not delivering your product, to the specified address.
The fact is that YOU are the owner of the entire contract.
You call the shots - make sure they know it.
If after going through all the previous steps, or attempting to, and all the people in Australia Post do, is tell you it will take 6 weeks (to do nothing), and they expect you to take this, and being on hold for 30 minutes every time you try to call them, OR they expect you to put up with their lying and their hand ball the customer around antics, and they refuse to make call backs, act on complaints, etc., etc., etc...
These are the people you need to contact.
