Hi there,
Here is an Email i sent to your customer support, but im placing it here just in case you decide to ignore my email:
"29th June 2013
Hi there,
My name is Zahir Shah. Im sending this email in regards to my passport application.
I was sent an email from the passport office on the 19th of June saying that my passport application was completed and was being dispatched out. It also informed me that I was to wait at most a week for the passport to be delivered.
So after waiting for over a week I decided to contact the passport office to see if there was a registered post tracking number. There was and that number is 543378025010. After using your tracking facility online it turns out my passport has been sitting in the Rouse Hill LPO in NSW since the 20th June. Thats just one day after the email was sent.
But here is the problem and why I am emailing customer support. On the tracking it says the following:
"Attempted delivery - being carded to Australia Post outlet"
However that is very strange because there is NO REGISTERED POST CARD ON MY PREMISES WHATSOEVER. In fact I have been waiting for the card for over week. No one has attempted contacting me or even remotely tried to reach out to me.
Australia post I am extremely disappointed in your service (or lack off) and I am extremely angry because you have failed to deliver me my legal identification documents for travel and failed to even notify me.
Therefore I want the following assistance now that it is the weekend and i cant pick up my passport today. If one of your representatives could contact me and let me know if Rouse HILL LPO will be holding onto my passport or if they will be returning it back to the sender seeing as it has been 8 days before anyone has picked it up. If they do plan on sending it back, could one of your representatives contact the office, instructing them to hold onto my passport until I can see them on monday. Here are their details in case your "company" cannot find their details:
Rouse Hill LPO 0.03kms
18-24 Adelphi Street Rouse Hill NSW 2155
(02)9629 1106
I want a reply from you ASAP as this sort of poor service is ridiculous and should not be tolerated. If a driver is going to leave registered post card, then they should leave one. Now because of YOUR DRIVER im in this situation.
Contact me as soon as soo you can. I have attempted contacting Rouse Hill LPO today, but as it is a saturday, not even their answering machine is on (Which must be extremely helpful). I have tried calling your support line and there are no operators on a saturday (so much for support).
Regards,
Zahir Shah"
Australia Post, you really need to do quality control with your drivers and actually see if they are doing their damn jobs properly. As company handling all our deliveries of important documentation at a National and international level, this sort of thing cannot be tolerated"
