Let me reiterate for you, YOU DESTROYED our parcel, you hid behind customs having it and they never did!! You did this for one month and stated you sent us letter's and they were NEVER received, then you say the letter's were return to send because it was street instead of avenue!! Then you decided when the heat was on that it was at your Melbourne gateway facility (which in fact is Australia Post) and then you decided yesterday that you AUSTRALIA POST deemed them dangerous goods and destroyed them, with NO NOTIFICATION. Now according to CONSUMER AFFAIRS you MUST notify before you destroy. Not to mention the 7 hours in total that has been spent on the phone with you and customs, who once again advise they have NEVER held the parcel!!!!!!!!!!!
You have reached a new low and as we put thousands of dollars into your company will be looking elsewhere to put it as your service is non existent, absolutely horrendous and NEVER once has anyone been helpful they always pass the buck or hide behind ridiculous acts blah blah or completely ignore you.
This proves you really are the worst delivery/mail service in the world!!

You guys do a awesome job you know that.... NOT!! If a package has "handle with care FRAGILE" on it, it normally means be fucking careful with it not push the fucking thing in to the mail box so what ever is inside breaks. Thnx for that really made my day.

so upseting that Aust Post have now officially made ordering online from overseas officially cheaper than within our own country! ta for that. and great that there is no point getting a bargain on ebay when postage is more expensive than the actual item! and that small online business has to charge the earth to get their items to customers...who of couse choose not to buy so thank you for milking the crap out of australians again!!

I've noticed with other companies that when I post anything negative about them, they immediately get in contact & resolve the problem. But not Australia Post. No surprise there. Queues out the door at post offices, endless wait on hold to call, EXTREMELY slow delivery, no response to emails regarding missing parcel.

What use is your parcel tracking system if it never gets scanned. Had Acer send a parcel on the 17th and this morning it still said it was sitting in chullorough (or whatever). Last time they sent me a parcel it still said it was in sydney the day it got delivered. Fix ur game, and u reckon u guys are AUSTRALIA POST, more like I DONT GIVE A DAM HOW LONG I MAKE PEOPLE WAIT POST.

Aus Post - is there any way to partition to get a parcel delivered to a closer address to the delivery address, without paying a transfer fee? I just got a driver car saying that I have parcels to pick up 5 suburbs away from where I live (I kid you not). The LPO is only minutes away!

For the Perth Division of Australia Post:
We recently posted our wedding invitations, we put a 60c stamp on all of them. In the envelope there is the invite and small postcard (RSVP), our invites have arrived to our guests with "postage not enough" stamped all over them, what a disgrace, how does this help after the fact....really...what a joke!!!
now for the best part.....not all of them have been stamped....so some 60c stamps are ok and some aren't....absolutely ridiculous!!
These are our wedding invitations.
VERY unhappy customer!!!

Dear Aussie Post,
for the second time in a fortnight, a card has been left in my letter box about a delivery when I was actually at home. I know from experience that complaining is completely pointless because nothing changes. At my last address I complained fully, sent emails, took phone calls, including the reference number in subsequent emails and yet I gained absolutely nothing. It's not like the contractor is given the parcel and told to go deliver it appropriately which would actually be solving the problem. Taking my complaint and listening nicely doesn't fix the issue and that contractor continued to leave cards when I was home.
Where I live now, going to the "local" PO means going to another town and this time, according to the card, I have a "bulky parcel" to collect. This is very inconvenient since I'm going on the bus or I have to ask someone else to collect for me. It is mostly very inconvenient because yet again I was home when the card was left. And since this has happened about four times times now since I moved to this town in December, it's getting old. I work from home but for people who work outside the home, how are they to manage picking up after a sub par delivery system?
I know that complaining in the past has done nothing but I urge you to really sit down with contractors and tell them that you're paying them for a service which they're not providing. It is completely unacceptable for this to keep happening. You're being ripped off and so are your customers. We pay for parcels to be delivered to us, not left at another location. If I wanted my parcels left somewhere else, I wouldn't put my home address on them.
Please! Fix. It. Now.

Please Australia Post, recognise that this is an issue and deal with it now. This is exactly the same experience that I had yesterday and on several previous occasions. The tracking says the parcel is onboard with the driver for delivery that day - we wait at home but we find that the courier has made NO ATTEMPT to actually deliver the parcel. Instead, we find a card in our letter box telling us the parcel has been left not at our local post office but at some other Australia Post location kilometres away. And if I want it sent to my local PO, just a 10 minute walk from my home, I have to PAY to have it sent there. You are in the mail delivery business Australia Post so please start recognising that by delivering our mail.

I have just had this happen to me in Brisbane. I have left a complaint online, but have had this happen three times now. Have rung, and they have said (because I said my address which has a unit number) that because it's a high rise, they could not deliver because they cannot leave their vehicles. I call BS. I don't live in a high rise (townhouse) and surely their cars have locks? We paid to get our parcels delivered to us. Maybe you can pay us to go pick them up from our PO if the delivery driver doesnt want to!

Australia post need to stop and have a look at how terrible there service is! Twice now in the past month, I have had parcels CLEARLY addressed to myself with a clear and correct address and these parcels have been marked on tracking as delivered but I have not recevied them. When I have then called customer service a random name person has been able to sign for MY parcel which is clearly to the wrong address! How can someone who is not myself sign for a parcel addressed to me! This is not the only issue I have had recently with you guys losing freight! absolutely wild!

I tried to use the complaints section of your website, but it conveniently isn't working.
Recently at your Wallsend store I tried to complete an identification verification for a Coles Mastercard. The staff member informed me that they were unable to do so because some minor corrections had been made on the form. The staff member was quite abrupt and when I asked what I had to do in order to complete the verification she quite rudely told that it was GE Money's fault and I had to contact them. I immediately phoned GE Money and the service representative told me that as long as my driver's license was in date, there should be no problem with completing the verification. Upon returning to your Wallsend store the staff members were quite confrontational and of little to no help. At no time did either of the Australia Post employees ask to see my I.D. I understand it was late in the day, but there is no excuse for poor customer service. I will be avoiding using Australia Post services wherever possible in the future, and will certainly not be returning your Wallsend store.

Who was the bright person who made a decision to remove ALL THE RED POST BOXES in the Success (Cockburn area) 6164 when the POST OFFICE moved from Gateways Shopping Centre to across the road? What an very STUPID thing to decide to do. One post box in the whole area. How inconsiderate, did Australia Post think about the elderly who go to this major shopping complex and who have no transport to the new location. Absolutely blown away with the stupidity.

Why do you not deliver parcels... Australia Post you are a sham by sending back parcels to a Post Office 8km away instead of delivering... What do we pay for?

Australia Post has turned into a complete joke in terms of the substandard service it has now decided to set the bar at.
It's dropped the ability to view tracking info online for Priority Mail International items using their tracking tool at some point between March 8th (when I last received something internationally) and the past week. When I called up about this, I was told that it was for "privacy reasons" and has been that way for at least the past 2 years.
As of calling up yesterday afternoon, I was told the 2 parcels I fortunately received today were still awaiting clearance at the airport - one of which had arrived in the country on the 12 - 6 days ago. I called up today to complain about it and Australia Post were far more interested in feeding me canned lines than they were investigating why the ball had been dropped (about how scans aren't "mandatory"). When I pointed out that in over 2 years of ebay purchases coming to me, most of which were by Priority Mail International, that I had always been able to see the tracking info online and that items had always been scanned when they hit the airport, I was told I was "very lucky".
I was that annoyed with the canned responses of the woman I just spoke to by the name of Donna, that I hung up on her. It looks like they've been taking customer service lessons from the USPS (who are regarded as an absolute joke worldwide) in the worst way possible.
Honestly, I used to have a reasonable opinion of Australia Post.

After months of trying to get Auspost to find my lost parcel, I filled in forms, rang them at least six times on that useless 131318 number, sent them more information about the address it went too, where and when I posted it and finally today I receive a letter saying their sorry, and if I now send them proof or purchase they will refund the postage cost. THE POSTAGE COST!!!!!!!!! What about the cost of the item? The time it's taken me to get this far? The cost of phone call? I posted the parcel in February!!!!!!! And after all this hassle you offer POSTAGE COSTS are you truly serious ? What about the $50 compensation for loss of ordinary parcels? Which if I'm not mistaken at your discretion you can increase. This is beyond a joke, I have jumped through all your hoops and you offer me POSTAGE COSTS !!!!! I think not, Disgusting

To the Postman who delivers to Brendale 4500, thank you for throwing my post from the walkway to my front step today when you knew I was home as my front door was open and I was sitting on my lounge right by it. Luckily my nail polish in one of those parcels didn't break. What a credit to Australia Post you are. You are an *******. Thank you.

Utterly furious at the inept service offered at Australia Post's Williamstown Rd Port Melbourne Service Centre this afternoon. Having driven past the centre at 3pm and witnessed a queue 20 deep (longer than ever before), I decided to return at 5pm when it is often quiet. Whilst I expected a short wait with only two ahead, 40 mins later I had still not been served, nor had the gentleman in front of me. Luckily this kind person allowed me to check my kids in the car every 5 minutes, as there is no car parking convenient to the pick up door and I did not want my two kids standing in the pouring rain (which the ten patrons behind me were faced with). How are mother's expected to pick up with children (and have free hands to pick large parcels up) when there is only parks on a busy road. Perhaps someone could actually be innovative and design a drive through service. So in the end I gave up...if two of your staff couldn't serve one person in 40 mins I can't imagine how long if took for each of the 12 people in the queue to be served. This was after having left a note on my door giving the postman permission to leave the parcel and NOT return it to a post office as he often has in the past. Needless to say instructions were not followed. There is no point spending large amounts of money on a new business centre and replacing an excellent team member (a man of Asian descent) with two equally inefficient people. The fact that the new design of the centre doesn't have the parcel door open directly on to the parcel storage area is also inefficient. I wonder how many efficiency experts were used to enable these changes. My worst nightmare is I still haven't been able to retrieve my parcels and will have to face it all again tomorrow.
