Oi Oi Oi

Dear Australia Post, please don't send customers tracking advices declaring their postage paid deliveries are en route when your lazy, subcontracted drivers don't bother to deliver them nor leave a pick-up notification. You need to clean up this practice once and for all!

Hi Australia Post, I have a package, EE944802155CN that was apparently still in melbourne when I checked this morning at about 9am, however now the tracking information has updated to say you attempted delivery at 10.15am today and I have just got home to find an attempted delivery card saying I can't pick it up till the 22nd. I'm heading overseas on Sunday and I require the contents of said package for the work I'm going overseas to do. Is there any way you could have the driver come back or notify me when it reaches the depot which is about half a K from my house so I can go collect it immediately?

  • Australia Post Hi Samuel, obviously you were not home and do not deny this, its our policy to card the parcel. You should have let us know as not to waste our drivers time, do not moan when you are in the wrong. You are welcome to come get your parcel first thing on monday. We will hold it for 7 days then it is send back to sender. -Rory

  • Simone Dow Wow Rory, I have been a manager in customer service at many well established companies for 10 years and this is the most appalling response I have ever seen to a customer enquiry. If you haven't been fired yet, there's something majorly wrong

I just had the a tiny little man attempt to deliver a 2.3 metre desk, 1 tiny little man. I say attempt because he has dragged it along the concrete and left it out in the rain cause he had no chance of carrying it up stairs, I'm on the phone to workcover as I'm typing this

  • Australia Post Hi Adam, this is quiet a story and accusation, a serious one at that if I may add. You need to show some proof otherwise this can be considering as fraud and we will be forced to pursue. -Ness
