some things people should know about australia post, they dont give a s**t about their customers,or employees for that matter, they care about making money

I've been having nothing but grief trying to get a refund for items that got lost when one of their trucks caught fire, dodgy trucks?? cutting costs maybe, big safety issue there,no one knew about this fire,

I had to investigate, aust post didnt let the people here know about it.

Have you noticed that the prices rise approximately every 3 months, when will that end,?,never.and if item gets lost, they say was it insured, if not,bad luck, now!who the f**k insures everything they send, maybe if its worth 100s,but not every letter or small parcel, its so they can get more dollars out of us,but why should we,we are supposed to trust them to deliver and by asking us to insure,it means, well theyre not sure if it will get there, but it probably will attitude, ive also talked to posties, and how they get treated, aust post are cutting down on staff, meaning that some areas only get postage deliver on a certain day of the week, thats wrong,if we are waiting for something important, it should be delivered asap.if a postie packs it in, they dont get replaced, last year they made a big profit, good on ya..but whinge because of overheads, for example,it would cost someone $6.95 to post say an empty matchbox to your next street,as it is a small parcel.. and the guaranteed next day express delivery is just one big lie,why have that sign up?.they tell you when your posting that if its being sent to another state it will take a few days.if in the same state it may, but only if its on their direct route, capital cities etc.what a farce.shouldnt there be a law against that, false advertising?.lok at their comments page,1000s of disgruntled customers wondering where their items are. i lost 100s of dollars which they wont refund, even though i have proof of what was in parcels and how much they were worth, they asked me to do this, spent hours tracking and emailing them, then they said too bad.WTF.,now i have 2 other items that seem to be misplaced as people are emailing me to know where they are, this is not a good service at all. they are not to be trusted, but what can we do?.they have the monopoly.and we have to cop it,so next time you post anything,be wary and try and use another service if you item has to get there rather than hoping it may get there,BAD service,BAD company, they should be ashamed.
