Ride the Aussie Post Merry-Go-Round - and call back later, and call back later, and

This is probably one of the major reasons, amongst all the others, why I have just gotten fed up with the never ending bullshit from Aussie Post and fucked them off completely.....

And the bullshit just goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on.....



So pissed at Australia Post. I posted a parcel (one large 7 to 8 kg Australia Post parcel box) last Friday and was guaranteed delivery by Tuesday or Wednesday at the very latest. 

The parcel was going from Kingston QLD to Liverpool NSW. When it did not arrive I contact Australia Post on 131318 on Wednesday afternoon and spoke to a woman who claims to have tried to ring the Leightonfield Delivery Centre which they did not answer. 

I was told that it had been scanned as part of a consignment and it was being held at the Leightonfield DC. As there was nothing she could do (more to the point did not want to do) she advised to call back Thursday morning.

 I called back on 131318 and spoke to a man who again tried to call the Leightonfield DC with no answer. At this point I was told he sent an email to them to advice that it was only one parcel and that it was to be delivered. I was advised to call back in 2 hours. 

I again called back 2 hours later and got the first of 2 "trained monkeys" that hung up on me and refused to transfer me to a supervisor. 

At this point NO ONE could wrap their tiny brains around the fact that it was one parcel! (yet they still can not get this fact right) 

Then I finally got another man who seemed to try and help but still could NOT get anyone to pick up the phone at Leightonfield DC. He then advised me to call back this morning at 7am to see if the email had been answered or there was something someone else could do. 

I started to call at 7am this morning but the 131318 number only operates from 8am (surprise surprise) 

Today I have spoken to 3 people and a supervisor and NO ONE can get the Leightonfield DC to answer the phone or answer an email (WTF???) the supervisor told me that no one should have tried to call the Leightonfield DC as they have to email. 

The parcel was for a 3 year olds birthday on Wednesday and now it looks like because an Australian Post staff member scanned the parcel incorrectly the parcel will not make it to the party tomorrow and I keep getting told to call back later! 

 I have spent more on phone calls then I did on posting the parcel! come on Australia Post respond
