The customers come out fighting.
It's like if this is the last day of the foul year of their lord 2013, and these are the last posts on the Australia Post Facebook page for the year....
But anyway, Fair Trading, VCAT, etc., etc., etc.. are all getting a mention, as well as the refusal to just lie down and take it in the arse.
They are coming up fighting.
Nicki, It's not replies we want. It's OUR MAIL and PACKAGES that we paid good money and entrusted AP with to deliver! We don't blame you guys, you're trying to do your jobs and cover for a bunch of hopeless bosses and administrators there. While they all lounge around in the 20 million dollar mansions, we're stuck without Christmas gifts and important correspondences. FRUSTRATED does not come close to describing our feelings. We have lost faith in our National postal service and this can only mean that it's time to privatize AP and get on to our MPs ASAP if there's no improvement in the service soon! The next time I'm on ABC radio I'll be mentioning this AP Christmas mail debacle and it will make an interesting story I'm certain. We can even open up the lines to see how everybody else has fared with AP's service this Christmas. Thanks for trying to sort stuff but you and I both know AP has screwed up BIG TIME and not short term fixes are going to quell Australian's anger over what's happened this Christmas.

I'm never using Australia Post again, on the 23rd I sent important docs by this so called express post and just today it has clicked over and tells me that the item is in transit. After calling Australia post yesterday to find out what is going on they blamed everybody else but their poor quality of service, So seeing as though Australia post wont help me in this problem I'm forced to go to the department of fair traiding because to my understanding a company can not charge for a service that they can not provide. MY advice people use diffrent companys it may cost you a little more but atleast your package will get there in time.

But anyway, Fair Trading, VCAT, etc., etc., etc.. are all getting a mention, as well as the refusal to just lie down and take it in the arse.

Still waiting for compensation for lost $953 spent on replacing passports incorrectly delivered to unknown home owner (or stolen internally). Not bad seeing they were registered. Postal Manager too ashamed to see us at the counter. Absolute disgraceful service by Aus Post and we had to cancel part of our holiday to rush and get new passports. And then they offered $100 to us for them losing the passports. Postal Ombudsman, Federal Police and VCAT all involved now. How about Aus Post jut reimburse us? Norm.

Dear Australia Post - you are utterly useless for losing so many christmas packages. Just wanted you to know that.

AUSTRALIA POST you need to ring people back when you say you will. I would like an answer to Ref No VH2663802. You have had my enquiry/complaint of my missing item since 11 December - that is 14 days until Christmas Day with NO PUBLIC HOLIDAYS in between. You said, on my phone enquiry, to wait up to 10 days for a response. I've been paitent. I didn't lose my article. You did. A response today is what I have asked for. I was told it was a PRIORITY on the 23rd December 2013!!!!!! Is that how you treat your priorities?

- Al Hannah To date, you have not called me back. I have phoned three times and I will continue to post my complaint. Your call centre people are very nice, but do the right thing and deal with the hundreds of complaints on here, and deal with your customers. If this was my business, I would be absolutely embarrassed!!!!!!!
- Roxy Ziegler Good on you Al we have had multiple things go missing from Australia Post in the past, all never resolved (even when we tracked it down to the postman delivering to the wrong house, but the parcel never turned up )... I hope you can get a response soon as your parcel will turn up 😊
- Al Hannah That's exactly what has happened to me as well Roxy. The problem is, because I opened this missing item case, the lady who sent me the item cannot make a claim!!!! It's just wrong !!!!!!!!! And to add insult to injury, the Aust Post Contractor who delivers to our street, had a go at me saying he was being hauled over the coals. I felt really uncomfortable. I wasn't trying to get him in trouble, I just want my item
- Roxy Ziegler Good luck Al I hope you have more luck with Aust Post than we did! And you know what the contractors are paid to deliver parcels like any occupation if you don't do your job or do it wrongly its expected that you will be disciplined, if he delivered it properly in the first place there would be no problem! Good luck! 😊
- Linda Ross Hi Al. We had trouble with the boys placement letters for Belmont High. They were posted at the Highton post office on a Friday and then arrived at our house over 2 weeks later and a week over due for our reply to Belmont high. Over 20 letters went missing. We filed a complaint and are still waiting 4 months later. Thank goodness we knew to ring Belmont High or they would have missed out on their places.
