True - You know sure some times the posties stuffing big articles into letter boxes IS totally inappropriate - like a card ought to be left etc... or to stick it beside the front door....

But you get these whining people with some kind of an entitlement mentality, that get A4 sized flat documents sent to them - for all the genius's with the univeristy degrees etc., but they have a DL sized letter box, with a DL sized slot in the front, and enough floor space for a DL sized envelope to lay flat - and that is about it.

And then they whine about the envelope being FOLDED and stuffed into their letter box.... good and hard......


"My god - you have rooned my pictures!" they wail.....


And I think,  "When are you going to come up to speed with the 22nd century"



See smart people get the BIG letter box that can take A4 laying flat envelopes.....

Do these whining arseholes, go and MAKE a DECENT sized letter box - like LEARN something useful instead of watching shit for brains programs on TV 5 hours every night, night after night, for years - for a project that can be done in say 24 hours - for a grand job of it?

No they don't.

Do they go to Bummings and buy one?

No they don't.

What do they do?

They just sit there and WHINE at everyone on the Australia Post Facebook page.....

It had a label on it saying "Do not BEND!" they snivel...


"You rooned my photos!"

"You rooned my certificate!"

"You rooned my univerity degree!"


"My life is ROONED - I have to go get them replaced - it's YOUR fault!"

 
I just hate that.......

"You (the sniveller) take responsibility for having such a idiotically small place to stick letters in - in the first place and then do something about changing it?"

"Nevaaaaaaaaaa"


Go buy a cold chisel and a hammer and grab a 20 liter oil drum, a few pop rivets and make it into a lockable letter box?

"Nooooooo tooooooooooo hard...."

 

Go do a basic welding certificate and cut up an old LPG or compressor tank and make a really cool letter box? 

"What do I want to do that forrrrrrrr?" 




Get on the internets and look up some timber letter box designs and get one or design and make one?

Awwww Australia Post.... Terrific.  People are so impressed with the service given by so many people in Australia Post.... The universal "Attempted Delivery" card being placed in the mail box, when the driver not only didn't bring the parcel, they never even came and knocked on the door.... Outrageous prices........ Parcels and letters going missing..... Registered mail never arriving, or getting signed for by the contractor and disappearing.... The tracking system that doesn't..... Mail taking 3 weeks to be sent from one suburb to the next......  What could be politely described as the "Go fuck yourself" policies and customer service when things are damaged or stolen.....  Packages "that could not be delivered", that end up in some Post Office,  far away, and the staff there,don't give a shit, can't find it and stuff goes missing and the customers get the run around etc... And REALLY BAD customer service..... The National Call Centre's...

Post Offices + PO Boxes = Pffft.

We do not have a street delivery where we are. The local PO has told us that anything not addressed to our PO Box will no longer be put into our box but will be kept inside behind the counter as per Australia Post advice.  When I rang Australia Post to query this they said it is  NOT the case in an area where there is no street delivery (which is what we were told when we first got a PO Box) and it is the local PO who have made this decision, not Austpost. We took the PO Box in the first place so we could actually get our mail because we couldn't get to the shop when it was open! This new policy will affect a number of customers. First comments: Ms Holgate said she felt privileged to be appointed as CEO of such an iconic Australian corporation and, "one of the most resilient and successful postal businesses anywhere in the world".
