I only found this page because I want to complain about Australia Post!
 
 I'm sick of receiving other peoples mail (by the way someone’s mail I get yesterdays electricity is being disconnected but they will never know because I have their letter!).

I'm sick of my mail going missing, never turning up or being returned to sender for no reason.

I'm sick of how much it cost to send parcels.

I do a lot of online shopping and have paid out over $100 in postage in the last month alone.

I'm sick of mail travelling within Australia taking weeks to get to me when things I order from overseas take a few days!

I sick of ringing up to complain, getting told someone will get back to me and no-one does.

I’m sick of returning letters that they put in my po box that have someone else’s name and address on them.

I shouldn't have to be taking letters back to the post office every day and I'm left wondering where my mail is ending up! It could be anywhere!!!

 Oh yeah, and when i took a letter back the other day i saw the man chuck it in the bin. That one must be too hard to deliver to the right person.

  • Aimee Murray Ok, I will call them but this is the last time I’m fixing up Australia posts mistakes. I have been returning letters every week for over 6 months and I’m over it. It’s not easy to get to the post office with a little bubba a lot of the time.

  • Julie-anne Lewis we were putting return to sender on the envelopes too when we first moved in... after i saw the post lady thru the envelopes in the bin when i handed them over the counter one time i gave up. 

    I was always under the impression it was against the law to mess with peoples mail.... surely that includes throwing it in the bin!

Fuck the Australia Post National Crawl Center

Awwww Australia Post.... Terrific.  People are so impressed with the service given by so many people in Australia Post.... The universal "Attempted Delivery" card being placed in the mail box, when the driver not only didn't bring the parcel, they never even came and knocked on the door.... Outrageous prices........ Parcels and letters going missing..... Registered mail never arriving, or getting signed for by the contractor and disappearing.... The tracking system that doesn't..... Mail taking 3 weeks to be sent from one suburb to the next......  What could be politely described as the "Go fuck yourself" policies and customer service when things are damaged or stolen.....  Packages "that could not be delivered", that end up in some Post Office,  far away, and the staff there,don't give a shit, can't find it and stuff goes missing and the customers get the run around etc... And REALLY BAD customer service..... The National Call Centre's...

Post Offices + PO Boxes = Pffft.

We do not have a street delivery where we are. The local PO has told us that anything not addressed to our PO Box will no longer be put into our box but will be kept inside behind the counter as per Australia Post advice.  When I rang Australia Post to query this they said it is  NOT the case in an area where there is no street delivery (which is what we were told when we first got a PO Box) and it is the local PO who have made this decision, not Austpost. We took the PO Box in the first place so we could actually get our mail because we couldn't get to the shop when it was open! This new policy will affect a number of customers.
