I was thinking about ALL this bullshit - "registered mail" - "Tracking" etc....


It mainly had to do with my set of bicycle rims "apparently" being stolen in transit, care of Australia Post...

4 weeks for a "guaranteed" 2 day delivery.... and they are still not here.



And I thought about all the being fucked around bullshit - as bad as it is..



Essentially Australia Post is an open door, "Theft Fest" for people who like to steal.....



And it occurred to me, that EVERYTHING should be tracked.

The tracking system SHOULD fucking work...

And every receipt should come with a tracking number on it...

And that is all there it too it.

And you should not have to pay extra.....



200 years of lame brain Aussie management, and "Ohh fuck - if you didn't pay extra for tracking - then non one knows where it is."

That is except for the fuck working for Australia Post, who stole it.

They know where it is.

At home for a few months and then onto Ebay, Sunday Markets, etc...



So what is paying extra for tracking and registered mail etc...

"It's a piss weak theft minimisation tax."



If it doesn't have tracking - much more stuff gets stolen.

And if it does have tracking, we say that we delivered it, when we actually stole it - which means we never delivered it - but ummm we did.

"Here is your fake signature to prove it - Mr Jones."




Fuck Australia Post.

Awwww Australia Post.... Terrific.  People are so impressed with the service given by so many people in Australia Post.... The universal "Attempted Delivery" card being placed in the mail box, when the driver not only didn't bring the parcel, they never even came and knocked on the door.... Outrageous prices........ Parcels and letters going missing..... Registered mail never arriving, or getting signed for by the contractor and disappearing.... The tracking system that doesn't..... Mail taking 3 weeks to be sent from one suburb to the next......  What could be politely described as the "Go fuck yourself" policies and customer service when things are damaged or stolen.....  Packages "that could not be delivered", that end up in some Post Office,  far away, and the staff there,don't give a shit, can't find it and stuff goes missing and the customers get the run around etc... Post Offices + PO Boxes = Pffft.

We do not have a street delivery where we are. The local PO has told us that anything not addressed to our PO Box will no longer be put into our box but will be kept inside behind the counter as per Australia Post advice.  When I rang Australia Post to query this they said it is  NOT the case in an area where there is no street delivery (which is what we were told when we first got a PO Box) and it is the local PO who have made this decision, not Austpost. We took the PO Box in the first place so we could actually get our mail because we couldn't get to the shop when it was open! This new policy will affect a number of customers.
