Everytime I am FORCED into interacting with Australia Post - it really brings out the best in me.


For some fucking REASON, some trader listed their delivery service as TOLL overnight / 24 hour delivery.....

Not that I am deeply impressed that it's TOLL or that it's a virtual same day delivery, I am impressed that it's just NOT Australia Post, who is doing the delivering.

But somehow in the mix, some dumb cunt, somewhere, decided to change the game plan without NOTIFYING ME, and now another package is being sent to me, via Australia fucking Post, instead of TOLL....

And the network steps in to fuck it all up and the delivery comes up here.. gets sent back, or gets stolen again.... and so on and and so forth.

And the hefty sprinkling of people - who go out of their way to either provide a shit service, or cover up for those who do, or to refuse to kick the dead wood out and go on the attack, against the customers, well they do a pretty good job of turning customers, into anti-customers.

People who will not only NOT hire Australia Post, starting with the local thieving postie onwards, but they will absolutely go out of their way to only send and or get sent, goods, via any method, means, service provider, aside from Australia Post, just to make sure they are kept out of the supply chain, but forget even using Australia Post for anything, they will also totally avoid having to have any dealings with them at all, for any reason - and not only will this carry over from their personal or business lives, the two will mix, and they will also distribute their "anything but Australia Post" delivery criteria into all their other personal, business and social transactions.

"Wow - you mean the 1 hour plus call waiting times, to the national call centre, is so awesome, because I can no longer ring the local post office - because the idiot management, don't upskill the entire staff network, and so they employ the dumbing down techniques - so no one knows nuffing, or anyone who does it, and the "It's not my job" attitude prevails...

"About that package that is showing as delivered, but never arrived..... "

10 days to do an investigation and that comes up as it's shown as delivered.. when it wasn't....

And this kind of shit just goes on all the time......

This is just so bad... All I can do is laugh...

So someone, somewhere, fucked it up badly and sent a package to me via Australia Post instead of TOLL - to NOT be delivered by the the local thief of a postie, who will send it back, if he and his idiot delivery centre manager don't rig it to go missing - and the crap just rolls on.

Awwww Australia Post.... Terrific.  People are so impressed with the service given by so many people in Australia Post.... The universal "Attempted Delivery" card being placed in the mail box, when the driver not only didn't bring the parcel, they never even came and knocked on the door.... Outrageous prices........ Parcels and letters going missing..... Registered mail never arriving, or getting signed for by the contractor and disappearing.... The tracking system that doesn't..... Mail taking 3 weeks to be sent from one suburb to the next......  What could be politely described as the "Go fuck yourself" policies and customer service when things are damaged or stolen.....  Packages "that could not be delivered", that end up in some Post Office,  far away, and the staff there,don't give a shit, can't find it and stuff goes missing and the customers get the run around etc... Post Offices + PO Boxes = Pffft.

We do not have a street delivery where we are. The local PO has told us that anything not addressed to our PO Box will no longer be put into our box but will be kept inside behind the counter as per Australia Post advice.  When I rang Australia Post to query this they said it is  NOT the case in an area where there is no street delivery (which is what we were told when we first got a PO Box) and it is the local PO who have made this decision, not Austpost. We took the PO Box in the first place so we could actually get our mail because we couldn't get to the shop when it was open! This new policy will affect a number of customers.
