And here is the crap they trot out -
e.g. No one uses stamps anymore...
But I am surprised that Umm Ahhh'd for Hours, isn't bringing out "Bomb the Wogs" stamps - where you can spot the American weapons, on Australian planes, financed by Australian and American banks, as directed by the Liberal Party of Australia, with the money from the Australian people - landing on people in Syria...
Hell - why not go the whole hog and bring out a stamps series, of all the "wars on wogs" - that "we" as the 53rd state of the USA have declared on the people of the world, with oil and uranium etc...
And lets celebrate the Nazi Party called Australia Post - the dip shits running the defacto branch of "Australian Security" scanning everything and anything that comes through the system, from who it came and who it went too..
Using their Magic Gestapo Powers - the little black marks on white paper, that says we can be cunts without accountability - just like the East German Secret Police...
Yeah sooo they can track every aspect of everyone's lives, through their legislated powers and crap like their part in the "USA's" (private bank run) global surveillance programs - but the dead shits won't get off their arses to find the parcel they stole from you...
So fuck them.
But WTF - Alphabet stamps will do..... for now.
Australia Post is celebrating the "fair dinkum Aussie" way with the first release of a quirky set of true-blue alphabet stamps.
The fair Dinkum Aussie Alphabet stamps are jam-packed with place names, products, past times, lingo and unique Australian animals starting with the same alphabetical letter.
Each of the first five stamps are linked to one of Australia's states, and with more fun to come as future Aussie Alphabet stamps are released, Aussies are encouraged to grab a magnifying glass and have a crack at discovering how many hidden names, places and objects are to be found on each of the lettered stamps.
Featuring illustrations from Queensland and Bali-based artist Gavin Ryan, collectors might recognise Gavin's artistry from the popular Road Trip Australia series of stamps issued in 2012 and 2013.
The alphabet letters for this set of $1 stamps are:
The Fair Dinkum Aussie Alphabet stamp issue is available from 1 March 2016 at participating Post Offices, via mail order on 1800 331 794 and online at auspost.com.au/stamps while stocks last.

The half year result was driven by the accelerated decline in letter volumes across the fixed-cost network. However it is expected changes to the letters service, implemented in January 2016, will reduce the growing losses in the mail business.
Managing Director and Group CEO Ahmed Fahour said the half year result highlighted why reform to the letters service was absolutely necessary to ensure future sustainability of the business.
"We have made a number of difficult decisions recently to help put Australia Post on the right path to take advantage of future growth in eCommerce," Mr Fahour said.
"Our financial position is significantly stronger as a result and we are further encouraged by the solid performance of both our parcels and Trusted Services businesses.
"It is essential we continue to look for new revenue streams for our business.
We are working with our corporate and government customers to build on our demonstrated capabilities offered through our national network, which already includes passport registrations, identity checks, banking and payment services.
"Importantly, we have improved our service performance and will continue to maintain five-day delivery and our vast network of over 4000 Post Offices.
"We will also look to further build on eCommerce partnerships to help our customers buy and sell online, both here in Australia and also internationally.
This includes joining Asian eCommerce giants JD.com and Alibaba on some of their most popular online shopping platforms, including 1688.com and Tmall.com."
Australia Post will release its full year results in September 2016.

Australia Post should spend their money on drivers to deliver parcels, instead of on social media propaganda.

I was just scrolling through everyones complaints and it looks like they don't respond even though it states you can have issues resoled by them through their social media with links directing you to here... pretty poor service really. Social media is also good for shaming bad service. My complaints today have fallen on deaf ears with no assistance at all. 1st email "I posted an express post parcel yesterday 16/03/16 in the express post box on Lorimer St Port Melbourne 3207 at 4pm, it states on the front of the box that the mail is picked up at 6pm. Parcel should have been delivered today yet the tracking number is saying pending!!! What has happened, this is a very important package that has been mailed on behalf of (media personality) and is of very high importance. Please find the parcel, track 606 18639523 092 and contact me immediately.
Called customer service told to look at the website!!!! Looked at the website only to confirm what I already knew.. 2nd email " I have spoken to customer service and been told the delivery will not show up on tracking until delivered!!! The aust post facility is less than 1km from the express post box and I would expect that all things picked up should be scanned upon reaching the facility. What is the point of having a tracking number?? I was told to look at website, according to the website express post is next day to major cities I think Perth is classed as one of them yet no one seems to know where our package is. Disgraceful

How about 1st Prize is getting your mail delivered! Have just had a Kafka-esque experience of using your online tracking service, which mysteriously has less detail the further the parcel travels along the Australia Post delivery system! This page is crowded with brave happy PR pieces from Austr. Post, and the public is responding just about universally with feedback about how poor the company is! The official resolution site is "experiencing technical difficulties". Awful awful service...

My sons birthday present from his grandparents has gone missing. Not happy. I've never had anything go missing from the mail, and when I've checked your delivery times of supposed delivered items people were home, never received a knock on the door or delivered at the time your computer system is saying it was. TV was not on,nor was anybody distracted by outside noises. Why are your people lying about delivering items and leaving mail where they shouldn't like door steps? Not impressed. It seems this is becoming an occurrence in our local area of things going missing after being "delivered". My mother was very upset and cried her gift going missing.

I have a great idea. How about not losing people's parcels. Here's another one, provide better service. Answer an enquiry or phone calls when someone has been on hold for 1.5 hours desperately trying to find out where their wedding invitations are. I have been waiting over 2 weeks for a priority parcel from the U.S that cost me over $100 to post. The counter service is so slow. I will avoid posting things as much as possible from now on.
Yesterday I went to the post office. The service was so slow (almost looked deliberate). The queue was out the door but the man at the desk served two people who walked straight in. Two German tourists actually asked me what was the difference between the two lines. I said none only that the guy serving was too rude to look up and Ask himself why people were still standing waiting after 15 minutes.
Today I tried another post office. Same story, one guy serving, slow as a wet week, chatting and oblivious to everyone waiting. So slow, on and on. I threw up my hands and left! When will they get the message. Could we buy some stamps from a machine at least? I just want to quickly post a letter quickly please.
PS: it was not a busy time, it was mid morning. It is really getting ridiculous.

All I needed to do today was contact my local post office to speak with an employee to confirm that a package had been delivered to the wrong address and was going to be express redirected to my new address.
I wish I could comment on the service but I have yet to receive any! Held on the phone for a ridiculous amount of time when the result of the call will be to connect me on to another phone line. I have had this experience over and over again! I never write reviews but this experience inspired me to go out of my way and comment on how terrible and frustrating the process of contacting the post office has been. It's a disgrace.
The express post 'guarantee' is a joke.
My very important package is 3 days late. The worst part is that in no way does this surprise me.
why would even put this in mailbox?
Today all I got in my mail box from mailman an Ripped and opened envelop without any content inside. .
Missing parcel, probably left at the wrong address
I sent a parcel on the 29/2/2016 from Marrickville NSW to Everton Park QLD, marked as delivered to Pinkenba on March 2 ?! It never arrived in Everton Park. Upon inquiring as to its whereabout the lady who was suppose to receive it was told that it was left at the front door. She was home that day and no parcel anywhere. I have a strong suspicion that it was simply left at the WRONG address but of course Australia post takes no responsibility. What is more it was sent registered and I believe it should have been signed for.

I have today been informed that a priority paid letter will still take nearly a week to arrive.
Australia Post has never had a reputation for speed or efficiency, but the recent changes are on track to destroy what was once an important service.
What genius decided that the way to get customers falling over themselves to use the post was to offer slower deliveries and higher costs? Less for more! Thinking you can get away with that is clearly a hangover from Public Service thinking where the Government monopoly meant that you couldn’t do anything about it.
Australia Post, here’s my advice: if you can’t think of anything better than that you may as well shut up shop now, and save everyone the expense of a slow and miserable demise.
