Peter don't think Express Post is any better. We send 40-60 Express Post satchels a day and over 30% are NOT delivered the next day. Some take 2 days, some 3. We even had one sitting at the "St Leonards Sorting Centre" for 10 days before it arrived. And calling Post is totally futile exercise. What a joke they've become. Third world organisation.

My company put out over 8 million articles a year with AP. When it came to renewing our contract they had no interest in retaining our business, in fact in the meeting they said quote "You need us, we don't need you". After months and months of getting nowhere and AP constantly shifting the goal post and asking for price increases of over 50% it became impossible to work with AP. We took our business elsewhere and is going from strength to strength without them. The impression we got was that they were doing everything they could not to get our business; or maybe it was a just the arrogance of the management team in head office in Melbourne. The whole experience was disgusting and an absolute disgrace, and I've never experienced anything like it in the private sector. the future is dim for Australia Post. They have lost the respect of the business community and when stamps go up they will lose the respect of the public.
(and they have)
