I talked to another business owner - who used to deal with Australia Post - but..

He said the hassles and the costs and the problems of using Australia Post were so bad, that they were gouging him every way and anyway they could like charging by volume instead of weight on boxes of work boots, promising the old "Guaranteed Next Day Delivery Scam" and when that fucks up and the package arrives 5 days later, Australia Post refuses to credit him on the postage....

And on and on - for a little bit, but he said he had endless bad stories about Australia Post.

And the summary of his experiences was this:


That he gives them $250,000 worth of business a year; and

He has been doing all he can, to get as much of his business out of Australia Post - and into other services.

He and so many other business owners I have talked too - all want to remove Australia Post from their supply chain.
