Is this "carding issue" a deliberate ploy by Fahour to cut services and costs?

So many people who have lived in many parts of Australia, say the same thing.

That being carded instead of your package delivered, is a national problem.

And they ask, "Is this a deliberate decision to shift the costs of delivery, onto the customer, instead of delivering the packages?"

This person sums it up nicely.

They do not meet the consumer guarantee, and are breaking the law.

I think there is something very wrong in this country when a major company can completely flaunt the Consumer Guarantee set out in law by the ACCC, and no department of government bothers to listen to you or enforce it.

There Product is not fit for purpose, they advertise parcel delivery to your house, but do not fulfill it.

It is very simple, a 3rd party engage with Austpost to deliver goods they sold me. (i pay for the delivery)

Austpost advertises the y deliver goods to my area.

But, they never get delivered.

I have to pick the goods up outside my postcode area at great impost to myself. (this is for unsigned items, i can understand signed items not being delivered if i am not there).

They have not fulfilled there side of the agreement to deliver said goods.

There is no disclosure on there website when requesting a quote that my area does not receive parcel delivery.

This should not be allowed to continue. Australia post has to either stop advertising and quoting they deliver to my house, or deliver to my house. There is no in between where they can claim there is only roadside delivery in my area.

If it is only roadside, then the cost of the parcel quoting should be less as part of the service can not be completed, and that it be disclosed on the parcel post quote page that parcels larger than a standard letter box will not be delivered.

They either do it, or they don't.. because I'm ready to take them into VCAT over this.

So much for powering online shopping.
