We do try to have parcels delivered first time, but with millions of different delivery points across Australia, we can't always anticipate the option that would be best for you. That's why we've introduced options such as Collect@Post, and our MyPost Deliveries service so you have more control over the deliveries of your parcels.

Australia Post last communication from AP was Mothers Day, the parcel was to be delivered the following week, well, I'm still waiting, but have given up hope, not sure why a tracking number is supplied if you can't track my parcel. Wasted my $60 buying a gift and paying for postage, but a good lesson was learnt, there is no such thing as service anymore.

Our parcels are taking up to a month to arrive from England. Family and friends are not happy about it especially as they spend a lot of money posting them for THIS Christmas for the family over here. Talk about snail mail. Not happy at all about it. What on earth is going on? It never used to take so long.

Hi Glenda, Parcels certainly shouldn't be taking that long, and I"m sorry to hear that you've had to wait. I know there were some delays last month caused by industrial action undertaken by Australian Border Force, so if the issues were isolated to that time frame that may be the cause.

Well again this week I have had to chase the postman up the street when he delivered the wrong mail to my letter box - this goes on from time to time - despite my having made complaints to Australia Post. I was a postman years ago on this round and if we showed contempt to our customers this way, we would be hauled in front of the Post Master and asked to explain ourselves. I make negative comments about Australia Post because you deserve negative comments - lift your game and your customers will begin to respect yourselves again - the ball is in your court!

haha John, I get two suburbs away mail. My postie doesn't even try. Throws mail on the lawn yet I could house a T-Rex in my letter box, I get everyone's mail but my own! Know your pain... even an official Australia post envelope didn't even make it to me 😂😂😂 it's been missing for 4 months now

If you're lucky enough that their MySupport isn't having technical difficulties to actually put in a complaint... nothing eventuates anyway 😂😂 bet the service would have been better back in 1938, mail would have been so quick in comparison to now. Made the mistake of sending an eBay item last month to NT via Australia post express post from Melbourne... 32 days later... my buyer is not happy! Won't make that mistake again 😂😂😂

The most hog wash I'm reading here. Nothing is perfect but post service is still of very high standard considering what goes on that you don't see and should be appreciated. Shut down for a week and feel it then.

Yep couldn't agree more... NOT! that's why my dad walked away from their incompetence after working for their company 50+ years... was the only career he ever had. Huge profit losses in last few years as everyone else has turned to alternative postal services just so their parcels arrive... I walked away after 5 years with them.

Glad to hear your experience as a customer has been good, myself being a customer now- cements the reasons I left... posting or receival is barely existent or lengthy delays (months).
