Parcel lodged with Australia Post and processed at Sunshine West, Victoria on Tuesday 8th November, 2016. Estimated delivery date by Monday 14th November, 2016. Tracking No. YZQ0014783. As at 25th November, 2016, parcel, still has not arrived. Complaint lodged a week ago by sender with Australia Post. No updates received re action taken to locate missing parcel. Poor, poor, poor sevice by Australia Post.

Ridiculous delivery times

I'm sorry but posting an item from the Gold Coast to Brisbane should not take a whole week. Yes. You heard right, a week. Last item from the same vendor still took 4 business days, including a detour via SYDNEY!
You guys are a joke and you are hurting local business with your disgraceful service. I can get packages from the United Kingdom, literally the opposite side of this planet, in less time than you can move one approximately 90km.

Worst postal service in the world

1 star is being generous, have never had a good experience with Australia Post. Ordered a large item online, Australia Post were instructed to leave the item at the door but didn't. Rude staff at the post office refused to help when we said the item was too big to collect ourselves. Awful and non existent customer service, the worst postal service in the world by far and a useless monopoly.

Snail mail slower than ever since charges increased

I've purchased items on Ebay, and like everyone else on this forum, my parcels don't arrive for weeks after the purchase, and sometimes not at all. I saw an ad on TV stating that Officeworks are now running a courier system where you can post 500g of stuff to anywhere in Australia for $7-50 flat fee. Sounds like a good deal to me, I will be requesting this service from future sellers as I am sick and tired of Australia Post not providing good service!

Unbelievable non-chalantness!!!

I was apppalled by the recent experience i had with AUPOST and their delivery agent. I was waiting to recieve a parcel since 24th Nov 2016, which i have been tracking through their site. They failed to deliver it on d day and they reshedule to deliver on sunday. I was at home vacuuming the car and even had to leave my front door open in case they come trying to deliver. Kids were in the living lounge. But to my surprise, i saw a missed delivery note! There was no attempt made to knock or ask from persons at the residence. He /she practically just drop d card and sped off. Where is decency and customer service!!! This is not the first time. Shame!

Absolutely disappointing - snail pace

An item was sent via express parcel from Melbourne to Perth, with the intent of receiving it in two working days, as informed. When called to check on status, I was told express post in Australia takes 8 days (posted 21st, expected arrival 29th). This is in 2016. Ha ha ha......
Such a disgraceful service.
Its about time Australia Post reviews their logistics processes.

Total Rubbish

Ok I ordered something from America which is about a month to come here. Yesterday I received a message that my package was going to be delivered today to Parcel Collect in Central Sydney. However when I checked the tracking number on the post website it says "undelivered - Incorrect address returning to sender". Not only I did not get a notification that this was happening but the post could of just called, email me or just using my parcel collect id number. Anyway I called the Aus Post today and all I got was to "contact the sender". He liv es in America dammit and the package is now in Alexandria to be returned back to the sender and Central / Ultimo Sydney is just 1 suburb away.

What is the point of giving my details to the Aus post anyway for verification when a simple task could been resolve with a simple redirection. You already know who is going to collect the post, I gave you my details and you still don't want to help. Next time I will just say my name is Donald Trump or something as at the end of the day nothing is done. Good luck verifying that you scums

I will never ever order from Internationally ever again as Aus Post aren't smart enough to resolve a simple issue.

Tracking useless

I posted a parcel to a customer on Monday. It was packaged in a pre-bought satchel with tracking so I put it in the red post box outside my busy post office. Nearly 4 days later and it has not yet been scanned. It should have been delivered in another state by today. Apparently, (and according to the rep I spoke to on the phone yesterday) I have to wait until next Wednesday before I can claim it is missing. I think it is missing already, since the tracking system should definitely have scanned events by now.

Australia Post, why won't you in vestigate this before the item is very clearly lost? I have told you where I posted it so it shouldn't be too hard to find. This parcel contains items that would take me many weeks to replace (handmade). Surely a key premise of a tracking system is to identify anomalies to ensure the process runs to plan? Tracking number is 60026574724090

slow, lazy, lowering quality to prepare for privatization?

Service has been degrading over the past few years - seems an article can only go one 'hop' in a day. current article seems to be spending a day in chullora, a day in granville, a day in Newcastle. Surely a parcel can move through a mail center quicker than that! Tracking is woeful - no idea where the parcel is when it's not in a mail center. Indirect routes - Brisbane -> Sydney -> Sydney (yes twice!) -> Newcastle. 5 days from BNE to NCL. Was initially told Thursday deliver, changed to Friday.

Absolutely the worst. Rude rude rude!

I just paid $23.00 to send a a C5 sized envelope that weighed 100g to th US via the slowest shipping. $23 for something slightly bigger than a bloody letter! Australia post, I hope you and your greedy antics go bankrupt. I would much rather pay more for DHL than send stuff through AusPost, because it at least gets there. Oh, and their post men! Packages thrown at doors (caught on camera), not even bothering knocking at the door (I work from home, so I'm home EVERYDAY from 8am-5pm, yet how did I get carded for packages?) and broken items.
