Throw Up Thursday

Yes read the nostalgic crap from yesteryear, and bring up your breakfast over the day to day bullshit from the Australia Post Empire.

Throw up Thursday.

Jane Fisher

Good luck Tammy, I'm still waiting for a parcel to be delivered that was posted in March, 2016

Australia Post

Hi Jane, Have you lodged a case about the parcel you're referring to? If not I would recommend doing so, so that we can look it into it

Jane Fisher

Australia Post , yes numerous times, still no resolution

Australia Post

Hi Jane, would you be able to pass the case numbers across that haven't had a resolution and I'll take a look at what's going on? ~ Mikey

Jane Fisher

Reference number 04636521 dated 21/3/2016 so many emails I've lost count, and also lost hope of having this resolved, so they've been deleted. Not holding my breath that anything will happen, wasted money on a gift and postage, but have no faith in Australia Post, after working in several different LPO's over a period of 18 years.

Australia Post

Just to Clarify Jane, Was this an article you purchased online and were expecting to be delivered to you? If this is the case, the sender of this article would have needed contact us to raise the search however, as it has been over 6 months since it was posted it would be difficult to locate. Do you have the parcels tracking numbers?
-Jim

Australia Post

Hi Tammy, There should be a link on the main page saying Message, if you click this then you will be able to send it to me - Joan

Andrew Slazmo

Especially great when you guys manage to deliver a parcel two suburbs away when it should have gone to the next sate... Hoping that you dont get too many wrong this festive season...
Pull your delivery drivers heads in...

Australia Post

Hi Andrew, I'm so sorry to hear this happened! Have the parcels arrived safe and sound now? If not was there any assistance I could be of for this parcel?
- Kathleen

Tyrell Reavey

Why did my international express parcel from over seas go to NSW and then on to Victoria when the postal address is qld and now for 2 days it say in transit ? Is it going clock wise around Australia ????,

Australia Post

Thanks Tyrell, It looks like the parcel might have accidentally slipped into the wrong state bag. There's nothing to worry about though, as the Melbourne sorting centre would have sorted it for transit back up to QLD, for final sorting a delivery to you. You should have it next week.

Vivien Herring

Thanks Australia Post for returning a parcel to our wedding planner in Bali without first notifying us to collect it!! According to the tracking number, you tried to deliver it twice and finally sent it back when we did not pick it up.

No notification card was ever left for us to collect the parcel. How did you expect us to pick it up when we did not even know there was a parcel for us in the first place?!?! This is so disappointing Australia Post, you need to fix this error!!!!!

Australia Post

Hi Vivien, I'm so sorry to hear this. I suggest lodging a case here: https://auspost.com.au/portal/#/register/product_enquiry with your tracking number so we may provide some feedback to your Delivery Center and get this fixed up.
Thanks

Braden Gillett

Big shout out to Australia post. So far in the past 3 months only 1 out of 5 packages from Ebay have made it to my door. I'm fed up with asking for refunds due to a terrible postal service losing everything I pay for.

Australia Post

Hi Braden, Have you lodged any cases for the undelivered parcels?
- Cam

Raewyn Roxburgh

Australia Post, I received a Christmas card from my parents today in the post. It had been folded in half and shoved in my letter box. It would have been nice had the postman/woman got off their bike and actually lifted the lid. My lovely card was wrecked!!!!

Australia Post

Hi Raewyn,
That doesn't sound good at all, would you mind lodging a case via http://auspo.st/293Tyk9 so that we can contact the manager of the driver?

I have never had items bent ! But then again my mail box is an appropriate size for the items I get to slide straight in the front slot . I can't imagine the post person getting finished till dark had he /she had to get off the bike all the day long ? I think when I see my post person in the poring rain I bet people will complain their mail was wet !

Peter Frith

20 days from Adelaide to NSW last month Hate to think what December wil be like

Australia Post

Hi Peter, Could you please PM me know the tracking number so I can have a look at any potential issues with the delivery process for you?
-Kristy

Pattie Chienne

And you might get them in time for Easter next year. Meh.

Australia Post

Was there something you'd like my help with Pattie?
- Nathan

Pattie Chienne

No, that ship sailed long ago.

Australia Post

Okay, well if you would like assistance with anything in future you can lodge an enquiry via http://auspo.st/293Tyk9

Jill Wells

So here is the Australia Post Guarantee for Express Post.

Had a Passport sent Express Post and lost in transit. Wait - sorry no - it was 'delivered' according to AP records - or at least - it was 'consistent with a delivery in your area' - so we will not help you because we say you have it.

Cost $254 to cancel it and replace it...and the envelope finally arrives a month after it was posted - and a week after the replacement arrived, was sent out to an embassy for visa and then re-delivered!

I am SO thrilled that I can get a FREE replacement envelope! Yay!!! Nearly missed the trip - $254 out of pocket (plus the cost for REgistered Mail for the second order) - but I get a free envelope. So - post early this Christmas - maybe if you want to get the gift there in time for next Christmas! Thank goodness we didn't have it sent 'normal' mail. It would have expired before we got it - I think they only last 7 years.

Jill Wells

And - out of curiosity - If we already had it - how did you manage to deliver it again ?!

Australia Post

Hi Jill, I'm so sorry about all of this that has happened with your passport! Did you have a case number or tracking number for this matter?
- Kathleen

Donall O'Cleirigh

Wonder if your out of pocket expenses will be paid or perhaps sorry will do.

Australia Post

Hi Jill, Would it be okay if you could send us a private message with the address this was being sent to originally so I can explain a little more about the tracking?
- Kathleen

Jill Wells

can do - but not particularly interested in how the tracking system works but rather why it didn't work and we weren't even believed when we said we hadn't received it. The entire response was effectively a shrug! "there is nothing we can do!"

Australia Post

Hi Jill, I completely understand and I'll gladly answer any other questions once I receive your private message :)
- Kathleen

Jill Wells

i have already sent it

Jane Fisher

Sound about right, my parcel was supposed to be delivered in May after being posted in March, but I'm still waiting, this is a great postal service, NOT!!!

Jill Wells

Jane Fisher are you aware there is a Postal Ombudsman in Australia? We are lodging a formal complaint with AP but will be following it up with both the Ombudsman and our local Member. The loss of a passport is serious and my husband, whose passport it was, is a member of the defence forces. In the age of terrorism, the loss of ID documents is extremely serious.

Andrew Slazmo

Jesus i thought mine was a problem...

Jill Wells

and the conversation had through messaging was simply to advise that there is no compensation....essentially AP takes no responsibility for doing what they are paid to do...deliver mail
!!!!

Jill Wells

And...we can also show that they amended the tracking record to delete the delivered reference after the passport reappeared in the system. We have the printouts progressively.

Australia Post

Hi Donall, We don't cover consequential loss I'm sorry, but further clarification on that can be found on our website.
- Cam

Jill Wells

Australia Post but isn't delivering mail to the mail address your job? Effectively you are saying you have no responsibility to deliver mail we pay to have delivered? Wow. I wish I had a job where I could not be responsible for what I am paid to do.

Australia Post

Hi Jill,These tracking records haven't been deleted and are still able to be viewed through the tracking on our website.
- Kathleen

Jill Wells

Yes...but a specific entry has been. Please read my posts carefully. Or isn't that your responsibility either?

Natalya Pavlyu-chenko

Good day, please help to know, what's new over status RE610353675UA and RE610351317UA. Thanks a lot

Australia Post

Hi Natalya,
I'd love to help out with you parcels :)
I can see that parcel RE610353675UA hasn't yet arrived into Australia. If this isn't received into Australia and delivered by 02/12/2016 please contact Ukraine Post. In relation to the second parcel RE610351317UA this also hasn't been received into Australia. For this one you will need to contact Ukraine Post as well to investigate this further.

Maggie Tsai

Hi, I would like to track a package that is getting sent to Australia, however, I have not been able to get updates on the package since 10th November. I was wondering if you could provide any updates on the package? tracking number: RM540031350KR

Australia Post

Good news Maggie,
This parcel was accepted by a delivery driver this morning and is on its way to be delivered today. I hope this helped and you enjoy your weekend.
- Ashleigh

Joanne Fairbrother

No guarantee you are going to get it safe and sound. Just ask me of the disgusting service I received or should say didn't receive. Out of pocket from their negligence. No service no responsibility no accountability

Lyn Stevens Morrow

Won't be posting any calendars overseas this Christmas - costs more in postage than it does to buy them.

Nick Symons

"post early, we only do our job right 95% of the time"

Matthew Rigby

No where near 95%

Jill Fullard

I now transfer money to my grandchildren's accounts for Christmas because postage costs so much. I'm sorry about this because they don't get surprises.
