Aust Post Stuffed up with my delivery complaint

Complained to Aust Post Dec 2016 about a parcel i was waiting for that wasn't delivered to me or my local PO by the Aust post contractor, the parcel was left at the local shop which isn't even a post outlet, the post office is 40m further down the road.

Aust post sent me a letter stating they had resolved my complaint. HA HA what a laugh i don't know what they investigated but it certainly wasn't my complaint.

They stated in the letter they had been in contact with my local PO regarding the complaint.

Prob is i NEVER complained about the local PO, I never even mentioned the local PO in my initial complaint,

There was nothing in the as to letter why the Aust Post contractor dropped my parcel at the local shops.

My complaint was about The contractor NOT the local PO.

They had the wrong Christian name & street number on the letter they sent me.

Lucky the local PO knew who i was other wise i would never had got the letter.

They should have a complaints dept where you can complain about the complaints dept WITHOUT having to go thru the ombudsman.

Given them a 2nd chance to reinvestigate i wonder what they will come up this time.

Fuck the Australia Post National Crawl Center

Awwww Australia Post.... Terrific.  People are so impressed with the service given by so many people in Australia Post.... The universal "Attempted Delivery" card being placed in the mail box, when the driver not only didn't bring the parcel, they never even came and knocked on the door.... Outrageous prices........ Parcels and letters going missing..... Registered mail never arriving, or getting signed for by the contractor and disappearing.... The tracking system that doesn't..... Mail taking 3 weeks to be sent from one suburb to the next......  What could be politely described as the "Go fuck yourself" policies and customer service when things are damaged or stolen.....  Packages "that could not be delivered", that end up in some Post Office,  far away, and the staff there,don't give a shit, can't find it and stuff goes missing and the customers get the run around etc... And REALLY BAD customer service..... The National Call Centre's...

Post Offices + PO Boxes = Pffft.

We do not have a street delivery where we are. The local PO has told us that anything not addressed to our PO Box will no longer be put into our box but will be kept inside behind the counter as per Australia Post advice.  When I rang Australia Post to query this they said it is  NOT the case in an area where there is no street delivery (which is what we were told when we first got a PO Box) and it is the local PO who have made this decision, not Austpost. We took the PO Box in the first place so we could actually get our mail because we couldn't get to the shop when it was open! This new policy will affect a number of customers.
