Damn shame parcels posted within Aus cant be delivered on ive been waiting for almost 2 weeks for a parcel to turn up, made a missing parcel complaint a week ago and still no answer...NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Already tried using the number i have, apparently because im not the sender there is nothing that can be done to recover my property.

Hi Lesley,
Whenever an item hasn't arrived when it should, the formal investigation does need to be lodged by the sender, as they need to let us know as much detail about the package as possible. In addition, if worse comes to worst, we can only compensate the sender in line with the terms and conditions of the service they've purchased.

Hi Lesley, Given that your parcel hasn't been delivered, I would recommend contacting the sender to advise of this. They'll be able to provide you with further assistance as per the agreement you made with them when purchasing your item. Likewise, the sender can contact us for assistance in line with the service they purchased from us.

Gee thanks, ive already done all that and it wasnt a item i purchased, it was already my property, it was mistakenly left behind in Melbourne, a private citizen posted it NOT A BUISNESS.

Ive already done all that and that has got me nowhere, think your just wasting my time...I know i will never get it back now because of your poor delivery rate..One would think that the salary your CEO gets he could run Aus post like it should be, not put it out of buisness, after all it is us taxpayers that pays his salary.

Pfft like i said its a waste of time nothing will be done, only have to look at all the complaints about Aus post, instead of bragging about parcels arriving overseas on time, start getting our parcels arriving on time, very poor way to run a taxpayers funded buisness

Awwww Australia Post.... Terrific.  People are so impressed with the service given by so many people in Australia Post.... The universal "Attempted Delivery" card being placed in the mail box, when the driver not only didn't bring the parcel, they never even came and knocked on the door.... Outrageous prices........ Parcels and letters going missing..... Registered mail never arriving, or getting signed for by the contractor and disappearing.... The tracking system that doesn't..... Mail taking 3 weeks to be sent from one suburb to the next......  What could be politely described as the "Go fuck yourself" policies and customer service when things are damaged or stolen.....  Packages "that could not be delivered", that end up in some Post Office,  far away, and the staff there,don't give a shit, can't find it and stuff goes missing and the customers get the run around etc... And REALLY BAD customer service..... The National Call Centre's...

Post Offices + PO Boxes = Pffft.

We do not have a street delivery where we are. The local PO has told us that anything not addressed to our PO Box will no longer be put into our box but will be kept inside behind the counter as per Australia Post advice.  When I rang Australia Post to query this they said it is  NOT the case in an area where there is no street delivery (which is what we were told when we first got a PO Box) and it is the local PO who have made this decision, not Austpost. We took the PO Box in the first place so we could actually get our mail because we couldn't get to the shop when it was open! This new policy will affect a number of customers.
