Purchased Wednesday, Delivered Friday. Yay Toll!

Yah - Purchased late Wednesday, from a place ~600K away...

Explicitly  asked for delivery by courier - NOT Australia Post.

Rather "casual" with their mail outs - kind of not expecting anything to arrive until say, Tuesday next week.

Not in a bad way - that's just how their sales / ware housing / waiting for fresh stock to come in - kind of process.

Here on Friday care of Toll Freight.

And considering the very delicate nature and size of the product, as well as the supplier waiting for fresh stock to arrive, prior to sending it on....

Rather surprised at the speed of it all actually.

Not pissy about it, but as these parts involve atmospheric pressure measuring + research + pencil to paper calculating (lots) + compensation for temperature + measuring 4 pressure types, from partial vacuum, atmospheric pressure, and two other pressure sources - using about $50 of raw materials - because I really both enjoy creating and I refuse to be royally arse fucked by  some companies selling their wares for $1300 Au, when local retailers sell similar product for $400, but I can make my own for ~$50 in materials, if I apply my smarts and research the blended topics....

Press MSL (hPa)     Atmospheric pressure reduced to mean sea level.

Press QNH (hPa)     "Press QNH" is QNH pressure. The correction from station level pressure to QNH pressure is based on the conditions specified by the International Standard Atmosphere. QNH pressure is used by pilots to set the altimeter of their aircraft. QNH pressure is closely related to Mean Sea Level Pressure (MSLP) at low elevations, and can vary significantly from MSLP at high elevations.

The answer is 1.3332239. We assume you are converting between hectopascal and millimeter mercury [0 °C]. 1 pascal is equal to 0.01 hPa, or 0.00750061561303 mm Hg.

+ coefficents of linear thermal expansion and offsetting, altitude compensation etc., and offsetting etc..

Blah, blah, blah, so I can get an enormous amount of education, and minimise my expenses....

And I get to figure out "Why" instead of just being told "What".

And Toll just delivered the package, for something I was hoping to delay the doing of, for another week or so.

So I am not pissy about the very prompt delivery, and I am rather pleased to have gotten Fahours failures out of the delivery chain, but it's like having a hareem of 25 women to fuck, and another 9 decided to move in last night....

It's not like I did not want the supplies to come, but I already have quite enough to contend with for the foreseeable future, without manifesting any more bright ideas - though this was born of necessity, not enjoyment.

 Alas the rapture increased.

Yay Toll freight.
