I really cannot believe how bad you are. I would love it you could do one thing right for us. Missing parcels, no accountability, no proof of tracking. Disgraceful.
You say a parcel has been delivered but nothing has come here. You put the blame on every other scenario except the most likely one where it is YOU that have made the mistake. This morning in my local post office I was told that if the tracking record says delivered then it's out of their hands! I explained to her that a computer system saying it's delivered is not a true indication that it actually has been delivered to my address but she couldn't seem to follow my logic on.
Here are some of the excuses you have provided so far:
1. "The sender must have put the wrong address" - I asked you to verify for me where it was delivered but you claim you don't have a record of that, which is not true. Your drivers don't just get a random bunch of packages then go deliver them one by one. Each item is recorded and an optimal route is calculated for the driver. There is a record somewhere.
2. "We delivered it, it must have been stolen" - I asked for proof that is was actually delivered. Notes on where the parcel was left, a photo, heck even confirm the address would be a start. I reiterate, the tracking number doesn't prove anything except you had it at one stage and now you don't. For all I know your driver has thrown it over the fence and called it a day. Show me something other than your "delivered" status because right now, you're wrong.
3. "The senders handwriting must have been bad" - Well, my name and contact details are supplied with the parcel and I'm registered on the Aus Post website. If there was any uncertainty, you could have made an effort to contact me if this was the case. But of course you did not.
4. "we're just the shop and have nothing to do with deliveries" - While it may be true, you're sporting the Aus Post logo above your shops and you therefore represent Aus Post. Besides, when an item can't be delivered it comes to the local store so I don't accept that local stores have "nothing to do with deliveries"
5. "No signature was collected as the sender didn't pay for that service" - Really?! This got my blood boiling. They have paid for parcel tracking all the way from the USA and because they didn't pay for the signature service this is somehow OUR FAULT that you lost the parcel or failed delivery?
You are a disgrace. Find my package or proof that you delivered it to my house.
