Inefficient and inept

Three parcels and three very negative experiences.
* Parcel 1 - sent via USPS priority mail parcels to my P O Box. It traversed the USA and flew here in a few days. then sat at a different post office (how could Auspost not deliver to an Auspost P O Box) without me receiving a notification. 13 days later, I found my delivery two suburbs away at the wrong post office.
* Parcel 2 - emailed via a pre-paid satchel on 18/3 from Brisbane. Still not delivered to the receiver. 60026569766098
* Parcel # 3 - another USPS priority parcel (Auspost does not understand the meaning of priority). Once again traversed the USA and got to Australia within a few days. Reached Australia on 27/3 and has not moved out of Sydney since. I am reasonably confident USPS must have an arrangement with Auspost to deliver priority items within a reasonable time frame. but Auspost does not understand reasonable. How does this just sit in Sydney? CJ461099680US . According to Auspost tracking this item only arrived in Australia yesterday, but USPS tracking says otherwise.

I did purchased a car part from ebay, the seller sent it via post.It tooks 15 days to delivery from NSW to SA.The tracking information shows, the parcel went to vic, then went to queensland, then went to adelaide.I bought a part from USA,it only took 16 days to get adelaide. Australia post service is terrible, the postage is pretty high.Thinking about the CEO of Australia Post earns the big dollars, feel really shame of it.

Very unreliable

They never care about door to door delivery. I work from home and I receive many parcels from other States in Australia and overseas. I'm home most of the time but they never mind ringing the doorbell. Instead they just leave this tiny note saying "We failed to deliver it because you are not home". All the time, I mean always like that. Even if the parcel is so small, they never care. Very very unreliable and DISHONEST.

Totally disgraceful and uncaring

Am waiting on my emergency passport to be delivered so I can fly home for my dying father. No one can tell me when it will be delivered, no one could be bothered to contact truck to find out when in the area. No one could be bothered full stop. What a joke. People need to undertake serious customer service training. How hard is it to be helpful and just make a call? Useless.

Really really bad experience.

I have been waiting for a parcel for over 2 weeks now. After calling Aus Post multiple times I still have no clue where it is. Every time I call I get a different response. I tried getting in touch on Facebook. The executive tells me my parcel has not even arrived in Australia. The Australian post website shows it is in Port Melbourne since Tuesday. I have no idea how the executive said it is not even in Australia.

CEO paid big $ but can't deliver basic services
 1 out of 5, reviewed on Mar 30, 2017
I was trying to track my parcel online, but the online tracking system was down. At the same time, I was calling Auspost and took me over 45 mins to get through. Not impressed at all. The CEO paid big $$$ but could not deliver basic services required - online tracking. Basically as a taxpayer I am paying for him for incompletent management.

Sheer incompetence at it finest!

The only thing changing about AusPost these days is the level of their incompetence! I had a tracked parcel marked as delivered in the tracking results yesterday, well no parcel came to us! We have a building with 40mtrs of street frontage and signage 8mtrs wide and 1mtr high in bright colours! You couldn't miss us if you were drunk and blindfolded! Thanks Australia Post, you've lost supplements that were to help with chemotherapy post treatment recovery... I guess when your staff are working in a pair thongs that should be a sign of what to expect...

Horrible service

2 months down the line and after numerous calls to Aus post and getting unhelpful generic responses, I still don't have my parcel, no reasonable explanation and the returned to sender parcel was never received by the sender either. Just disappeared. Original review below

I received delivery card. Went to post office and told they didn't have my parcel. Made an enquiry and was told it was being investigated. Followed up week later was told parcel sent back to sender. Apparently it wasn't available for me to collect but available to send back . I lodged company and have been following up. Nothing has been done. I was told not to contact them until they contact me. Still waiting. No communication no apology no parcel just left with the inconvenience and expense. I'm totally disappointed.

Australia Post Official
Hi there,

This certainly doesn't sound like the type of experience we want you to have. If you can kindly share your case number with me I'd be happy to take a look at it for you.

Ref: 09581793 I've had officials from Australia Post "taking a look at it" since January. Why you have people paid to make these online responses when you can use those resources to deliver proper service baffles me.

8 Days for express post! What a joke!
 1 out of 5, reviewed on Mar 28, 2017
After triple checking with my online store and Australia post delivery calculator, both websites said 2-3 business days for my express post parcel to come from Ormond VIC to Walliston WA, I have just contacted Australia post and have been told it will not arrive for another week. For $151.11 that's disgusting!
