so here we are again Australia post dont care about the customers they are all about trying to make a profit, ive been fighting them for the last 3 months over their incompetency and theift of one of their delivery vans, containing my parcels i lost over $2000 worth of articles and they want to give me $67.75 hmmm...all because my sender didnt give me the option for postal insurance?
Why should we the paying customers be forced to pay extra for postal insurance in the event that you fail to provide the service we are paying you to do.?
how you had a van stolen whilst the driver was making a delivery is beyond comprehension and total incompetency on behalfof Australia post
i suggest people fight the more people that stand up and make Aus post accountable for their actions the better, im currently in discussion the the postal ombudsman net step will me department of fair trading, my local member i will even take legal action, their is no way im going to be left out of pocket because they failed to provide a service i paid them to do
i have since received an email and i find it hilarious the bottom paragraph says Australia Post is committed to providing our customers with excellent service and to contact you for any packaging tips.
we your customer service is appalling and they way you treat your customers is disgraceful, my parcel that was pilfered and had contents stolen was an Australia post mail order box purchased from Australia post

Hi Shane,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.
From what you've said, it seems you were the addressee of the item/s. If this is the case, and the sender has not provided you with the goods you paid for, I would recommend you contact them to seek refund or replacement. It is the sender
s responsibilty to ensure they choose a suitable service when sending an item, not yours as the addressee.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind regards,
Nathan

ive just left gosford post office where i was informed the driver of the delivery van is no longer employed because he broke protocol leaving the keys in the ignition enabling the van to be stolen ?
Shane White
id like Diane to call me asap so we can resolve this issue
Shane White
Nathan are you saying Australia post is not a suitable service for sending parcels? im a little confused, the sender purchased an Australia post mailing box from australia post packed my $2000 worth of items and handed them over to the aus post office, whilst in transit prior to delivery 2 streets away from where i live, your drive abandoned his vehicle leaving the keys in the ignition the van was stolen and upon recovery of the vehicle my parcels were ransacked?
Shane White
now you want to give me $67 compensation for the theft of my items caused but the incompetency of your driver ?
Australia Post
Hi Shane.
I'm sorry but I'm not sure who Diane is. Australia Post has over 30.000 employees so I will need a bit more information; do you have a reference number for an investigation that was carried out?
With regards to choosing a suitable service when sending items, Australia Post recommends using one which includes Extra Cover when sending valuable or important items. Much like taking out travel insurance when holidaying, while you don't envisage anything going wrong, it's best to make sure you are covered should anything untoward occur.
I understand you are frustrated by this matter Shane, but as you are the senders customer, you will need to contact them to resolve the matter. Likewise, the sender can contact us to discuss the matter further.
If you need any more assistance understanding Australia Post processes, please send us a private message with the URL to this post and your contact phone number.
Kind regards,
Nathan
Shane White Omg.
The sender has nothing to do with the stolen items. Your courier left the keys in his van and then left the van unattended. The van wad then stolen containing my parcels. The the thief then stole my item's because of your drivers incompetence in left out of pocket?
Shane White
So if you driver had have been following correct procedure we wouldnt be having this discussion so I want to be componsatef to the full value of my stolen items

Hi Shane
Walk to the closest wall and bang your head 3 times you will get more out of doing so than trying to talk to Nathan that seems to be typing off a script as he keeps referring to the sender not taking into account the parsle had left the senders hands and was missplaced/damaged/stolen out of 1 of Australia post vans while in transit because of a mistake made by 1 of there employees it seems you getting no were wich is a joke good luck mate
Kind regards ben's green cheek's
Shane White

Hey Shane,
I’d be more than happy to pass this information onto Di for you.
In order for me to do this, I’ll just need either the tracking number of your parcel or the incident/reference number you would have been given when this claim was made.
I look forward to your response.
Jim

Di has all the information already this is just more information she should know about the incident, Aus post Gosford informed me yesterday the driver was retrenched because of his actions he was disciplined and then fired for breaking protocol so why am i still out of pocket? Ombudsman Enquiry REF: VH2827877, Aus post ref 140509-000133 , Police Event No E 181454898 on the 22/4/14, anything else ?

this is the response given by australia post
The Response from the Area Manger is as follows:
On the 22 April 2014 the Van was stolen in the Gosford Area.
The Police was contacted and the van was recovered 1 hour and 15 mins later.
The Police impounded the Van on the 22 April 2014
Parcels were released on the 23 April 2014
Mr Whites parcels were on board however only minimal tampering that required repair to the bottom of one parcel
Shane White
i see you forgot to mention the driver left the keys in the ignition of the van then left the van unlocked and abandoned enabling it to be stolen
Shane White
the minimal tampering you mentioned involved the whole bottom of my parcel to be ripped open and contents removed by the theif it required 5 strips of aus post packing tape to try and repair the box that you failed to mention when my damaged and ransacked parcel eventually arrived
Shane White
you call this minimal tampering https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10202225700385603&set=a.3267045836661.2125800.1282742955&type=1&theater

Yes Shane White, they also have lost 2 of my parcels, one in August 2016 worth over $600 & very rare hard to get item & the other has been in Australia for 10 days & can't be found. &%(@%$! useless & we already get ripped off with the postage cost, let alone our items getting ripped off as well. I'll stand up & fight with you, no hassles!. Lets go. Cheers Scott Andrew
