I have lost $110 thanks to the disaster that is Australia Post

I was sent medication by an online doctor which ended up costing $110 ($10 of that was to cover EXPRESS POST - what a joke). I have never had a problem receiving anything from this doctor in the past. Yet this medication is nowhere to be found. I cannot get my money back, because the medication has been sent and somebody obviously has to cover the cost for this medication. I honestly can't fathom how this could have happened considering someone has to sign for this medication? To top this off, I ordered an additional $136 worth in other package s (from a buyer I purchase from regularly) and again it is NOWHERE to be found. If you think this disaster is over it isn't. I have been waiting for an ID card to arrive at my house for over two months. The university who sent it has sent an additional two since the first one never showed up but guess what? I am still waiting to receive one at all. Honestly people, you are delivering mail, not performing open heart surgery (and thank god for that... ). On the plus side, you know that Australia Post is reliable in the sense that they NEVER stop letting you down.

Awwww Australia Post.... Terrific.  People are so impressed with the service given by so many people in Australia Post.... The universal "Attempted Delivery" card being placed in the mail box, when the driver not only didn't bring the parcel, they never even came and knocked on the door.... Outrageous prices........ Parcels and letters going missing..... Registered mail never arriving, or getting signed for by the contractor and disappearing.... The tracking system that doesn't..... Mail taking 3 weeks to be sent from one suburb to the next......  What could be politely described as the "Go fuck yourself" policies and customer service when things are damaged or stolen.....  Packages "that could not be delivered", that end up in some Post Office,  far away, and the staff there,don't give a shit, can't find it and stuff goes missing and the customers get the run around etc... And REALLY BAD customer service..... The National Call Centre's...

Post Offices + PO Boxes = Pffft.

We do not have a street delivery where we are. The local PO has told us that anything not addressed to our PO Box will no longer be put into our box but will be kept inside behind the counter as per Australia Post advice.  When I rang Australia Post to query this they said it is  NOT the case in an area where there is no street delivery (which is what we were told when we first got a PO Box) and it is the local PO who have made this decision, not Austpost. We took the PO Box in the first place so we could actually get our mail because we couldn't get to the shop when it was open! This new policy will affect a number of customers. First comments: Ms Holgate said she felt privileged to be appointed as CEO of such an iconic Australian corporation and, "one of the most resilient and successful postal businesses anywhere in the world". What she really means that she is either completely out of touch with reality or is a weasel wording corporate bullshit artist.
