The Week Ending 17 May 2013 Part 1 of 2

Skip the yellow bit if you have read it before....  this is the updated and revised version. Then we go onto the  Complaints left on the Australia Post Facebook Page. You OWN the contract - not Australia Post. That's right - your totally in charge of it. You buy the goods from a supplier. You commission them to send it to you - you pay for the postage - the agent acts on your behalf. Australia Post enters into an agreement to send you, your package, as a third party to the contract. The contract is to take it from the point of engagement, to the point of delivery. And they promptly: a) Fail to deliver it on time and a i) Refuse to supply a replacement satchel etc. or b) Lose it. c) Steal it. d) Send / Deliver it to Osama in Tora Bora, Bumfuck Nowhere, Afghanistan, instead of your place Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. e) Hand it to Fucknose Who across the counter, in Footscray Melbourne, when the delivery address is Perth Western Australia. f) Refuse to deliver it ...

Jandy Shea posted to Australia Post about an hour ago On wednesday the 1st May 2013, at about 7am, I got my email saying my package was on bored with driver for delivery today.  At 10:30am, while dropping my son to playschool I get a second email, attempted delivery/carded. I went home to go get my card, I cant find it anywhere, I then headed to my local post office, where my package was to be returned to.  I said I can not find my card anywhere but ha ve my licence and tracking code, they told me this would be fine as long as my name and address on my ID match my package, and that Bonythons driver isn't back yet and to come back in a couple hours.  At about 1:30 I get my third email, my package has just been scanned Into Tuggeranong's facility. No later then 10 minutes after receiving this email I arrive at Australia Post Tuggeranong Business Center.  I give my tracking number, name and address, nobody can find my package anywhere. I waited an hour while...

The bullshit behind the guaranteed express post

I put in a reply on the Australia Facebook Webage....  It's  quite a good reply. Think about it.   Stacy Hill posted to Australia Post Tuesday i was suppossed to get my item today express postage it says it is here but i have not got it why did i pay for next day delivery if i'm not going to get it Like · Ben Barak likes this. Lampwork Whimsy BM oh Stacy, I have been in this boat before - I no longer pay for express post as it does not travel any quicker than regular mail Tuesday at 6:21pm · Like Wroger Wrogera Express Guaranteed Postage is NOT worth the USED toilet paper it's printed on.    The "only guarantee" - which is fucking worthless, is to give you a NEW satchel, if the other one didn't arrive overnight, as promised.    Statistically speaking that is a scam , as just how many express packages do not come over night, and the people can't be bothered claiming the "free satchel" in light of all the fucking bullshit they have to ...

Nick Wall posted to Australia Post 6 hours ago near Brisbane, Queensland Sort your parcel delivery out. Today - drop the card and go kind of driver in the AM. Go down to post office toward the end of the day "oh you'll have to wait until tomorrow because we haven't processed today's parcels" ... And that is my problem because..... Last Delivery - No card left at all. No follow up card. Only found the item by going into post office and having them look for deliveries. "oh that's been here for a while, would have sent it back if you hadn't come to collect it." Gee, wonder why it was sitting there. Time before that - Card arrived several days after the item arrived at the post office. A few deliveries before that .. Walked into collect only to be told that I'd collected it the previous day. Wrong Again. YOU'D GIVEN IT TO THE WRONG PERSON. And they'd opened it. Australia Post and Stuffing it up : PART OF EVERY DAY. Ri...
