My 2c worth.

To the people managing Australia Post - you absolutely fucking disgust me. Ebay - tons of gear - "Free postage from China" - while you rip us off with rates - well it costs more or less the same to send one 500gram package express (pack of butter) by Australia Post, as it does to send a 20Kg package (bag of cement) by courier. While people get ripped off big time in Australia and people in China get free postage to Australia. I hope your partners wake up one morning and lace your museli with rat poison.

Getting the passport - Via Australia Post - no thanks.

Zahir Shahposted  toAustralia Post 4 hours ago Hi there, Here is an Email i sent to your customer support, but im placing it here just in case you decide to ignore my email: "29th June 2013 Hi there, My name is Zahir Shah. Im sending this email in regards to my passport application. I was sent an email from the passport office on the 19th of June saying that my passport application was completed and was being dispatched out. It also informed me that I was to wait at most a week for the passport to be delivered. So after waiting for over a week I decided to contact the passport office to see if there was a registered post tracking number. There was and that number is 543378025010. After using your tracking facility online it turns out my passport has been sitting in the Rouse Hill LPO in NSW since the 20th June. Thats just one day after the email was sent. But here is the problem and why I am emailing customer support. On the tracking it says the following: "Attempted delivery...

More tales of Terrible Angst

Leesa Gon-Chee  posted toAustralia Post 5 hours ago Four times this week your postal contractor has left a "You Have a Parcel" card in my letterbox despite the fact that I was at home and our gate was wide open! I have lived here for three years and in all that time this contractor has not once attempted to deliver a parcel, but would rather leave a card in the letterbox than do their job properly. I paid for parcel post and now I have to go 15 minutes out of my way to a Post Office that isn't even my local PO! Great service Australia Post. I think I will use couriers from now on, they have no issue with delivering person to person. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tammy Owen  posted toAustralia Post 5 hours ago What is the point of having registered post with a tracking number if it is never used??? I had something posted 3 days ago and it is still showing up as "no events currently found". Australia post is totally hopeless! ~~~~~~~~~~...

Aus Post shoves it up the residents, The residents come out fighting

Rick Troeth posted toAustralia Post 3 hours ago I have been living in the new Curlewis Estate and Australia Post have refused to deliver mail to this estate . Their reasoning behind this is "the cant afford it". I feel the need to voice my disgust at the attitude of Australia Post. I am a disabled pensioner with no way of getting to the Drysdale Post Office to collect my mail. I feel that Australia Post are discriminating against me and other people in my position. We have met all of your pathetic criteria to have our mail delivered and the residents are demanding that Australia Post starts delivering our mail to our homes immediately. So far we have taken the following action; • A petition has been signed by hundreds of local residents to voice their anger. • Some residents have already been in the local newspapers • We have contacted the Communications Ombudsman • We have contacted the Mayor and Councillors of the City of Greater Geelong • We have contacted Richard Marles M...

The people are calling the police on Australia Post.

Why? Because the management of Australia Post are just so fucking slack. That's why. Lauren Wright posted toAustralia Post Yesterday I am absolutely DISGUSTED with the way Australia Post repeatedly ignored customer complaints from all over Highfields, My Kynoch and Blue Mountain Heights in QLD for the last 18 months! Thank goodness some locals residents got the POLICE involved and our dodgy mail contractor was finally charged! On a positive note, thank you to the excellent service of the current 'postie' who is currently contracted to now deliver our mail. He has done a superb job. And some of the missing parcels, purchases, bills, cards, and legal documents have started to arrive. I hope this is a 'wake up' call to AP to have better monitoring systems for dealing with, and investigating, complaints.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jessie Dillon-Wright  posted toAustralia Post 5 hours ago I was awaiting delivery of a parcel today as tracking said...

Tegan Goodsir posted toAustralia Post 11 hours ago Let me reiterate for you, YOU DESTROYED our parcel, you hid behind customs having it and they never did!! You did this for one month and stated you sent us letter's and they were NEVER received, then you say the letter's were return to send because it was street instead of avenue!! Then you decided when the heat was on that it was at your Melbourne gateway facility (which in fact is Australia Post) and then you decided yesterday that you AUSTRALIA POST deemed them dangerous goods and destroyed them, with NO NOTIFICATION. Now according to CONSUMER AFFAIRS you MUST notify before you destroy. Not to mention the 7 hours in total that has been spent on the phone with you and customs, who once again advise they have NEVER held the parcel!!!!!!!!!!! You have reached a new low and as we put thousands of dollars into your company will be looking elsewhere to put it as your service is non existent, absolutely horrendous and NEVER once ha...

The classic Aus Post rip off

Image
You want to send stuff.... Use a courier. Melb Metro Up to 20Kg - $14 - The Courier. Up to 3Kg - $9 - Australia Post. Victoria Wide Up to 20Kg - $15 - The Courier Up to 3Kg - $12 - Australia Post. That is about 7 times as much freight, for only a few dollars difference. And the "EXPRESS" post.... Ahhhh haaaaa haaaaaaaa  500 grams is only like ONE packet of butter, compared to a bag of cement, it doesn't get there any faster and costs just as much to send either of them..... Haaaaaaaaaaaaa what a fucking joke. "Australia Post - Pfftttttt - As if."
