Nazi Post Closes the Peoples Post Offices

Image
This is an interesting read - about the corporate moron - shit head mentality that goes on with the clueless and stupid - probably from the dim witted stars of the Australia Post Graduate Program. http://www.newsmaker.com.au/news/27460/australia-post-which-side-will-privatise-it-first Thursday, September 5th, 2013 - Country Alliance Australia Post remains at risk of privatisation regardless of who wins Saturday’s federal election. Country Alliance party spokesman, Russell Bate, said it was concerning that neither Labor nor the Coalition will commit to ensuring this vital service stays in public hands and called on both parties to rule out privatisation. “Australia Post has clearly been in the process of restructuring in preparation for a public offering of all or at least significant parts of its operations.  If we take the impact of the privatisation of Telstra on regional Australia as an example it is clear that this would be a disaster for country Australia".  ...

Australia Post says..

I have never ever liked the lack of accountability that comes with the stone walling effect of "Australia Post Says". The corporation does NOT have an opinion / recommendation / decision. It's people and groups and committees that make them - with their legal depts, business and other people from other groups that come into the scene. And someone signs off on the decisions. So who are they? What are their contact details? How come that WE the people of Australia - are never invited to participate in these discisions or to have a say so on any of the decisions that affect us and or how their decisions may impact on our community? Why does the management of Australia Post think they can get away with hiding their own personal accountability, for their own individual and collective decisions - without consultation - behind their "Faceless Corporate Facade" - of stone walls, a lack of personal contactablity, a lack of public address's and phone numbers and meeti...

Australia Post Closures

Image
I was having a skim through the interwebs and the issue of that "dumb fuck" logic that seems to be so totally endemic at Australia Post came to the fore once again. Looking at how profitable this post office is, where it is, a client base of 30,000 people, and then AFTER the closure, the reinstallation of a LESSER service, and then notice ALL the cut backs and reduction in services - added on to how much of "dumb fuck - bullshit" lip service the Australia Post PR glove puppet spews... And then looking at ALL of the really underhanded, back stabbing and deceitful practices that the management of Australia Post have pulled off - in order to TRY and push this through. No wonder their business is in a nose dive..... It's a fundamental fact of life that people do not like dealing with incompetent people who lie to them, bullshit them and give them the run around. And despite the glossy pamphlet spin - a LOT of people actually hate having anything to do with Australia...

Didit for the LOLZ

http://aussiehomebrewer.com/topic/72539-how-to-piss-off-australia-post/ Went into town today to pickup a 5kg post bag. The post office didn't have any 5kg or 3kg in stock, and said they are on order. I asked when they should be here and the guy serving said not for a week or two. I said "you must be getting them sent via Australia Post". He didn't look too impressed.

"Oh fucking Duh!"

This is another charming example of just how stupid the management of Australia Post, and their 'fingers in their arses" bored of directors REALLY are. For instance, "You cannot ring, anyone, in any department, any more. - You can't even ring your own local post office. Why? Because these idiots (bangs head on desk) have decreed it to be so."  So now we have to go through that bastion of bullshit - after an hour or so on hold, called the national call center - playing "Dial a nuff nuff" - where in my own experience 9 out of 10 people, they won't transfer your call, no - they give you the "Puter says nooo." routine. Just fuck that. Fuck off. Get the fuck out of my life - you fucking moron. This is another story of the the "Australia Post Effect" - Where, "We are so fucking bright that when we walk into a room it noticeably dims." http://ellebat.tumblr.com/ The post that hurts the most Australia Post are fucking jerks. I’...

The fan mail keeps just right on rolling in.

Another day of Epic Failures...   I like this too - "Ahhhh fucking funny!!!!"

Australia Post has a lot of BAD review sites.

The good thing about these, is that while the Australia Post Social Media Customer Care Team - DO DELETE - all the posts they don't like, from their Facebook page - not only can you lodge your complaint ON their Facebook page, but you also lodge it on other sites where the Australia Post Social Media Customer Care Team cannot delete your posts. http://www.productreview.com.au/p/australia-post.html http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum/?action=search&q=Australia%20Post&o=list http://www.jobadvisor.com.au/australia-post-reviews http://eggitt.com/business/australia-post/ http://www.yellowpages.com.au/search/listings?clue=Australia+Post&locationClue=All+States&lat=&lon = http://mozo.com.au/rate-and-review/Australia-Post/reviews http://www.yelp.com.au/search?find_desc=Australia+Post&find_loc= http://www.somethinkodd.com/oddthinking/2010/03/20/courier-versus-australia-post-reliability-review/ http://www.insuranceonus.com.au/insurance-reviews/australi...

This is NORMAL for Australia Post.

On their Facebook Page today - aside from the usual turning up really late to start responding to complaints etc., This is what came up. Christiaan Yaghmoor posted toAustralia Post 55 minutes ago   ATTENTION,   I had a missed messenger post courier parcel from Sydney to Melbourne on the 24th of September with reference number 3251698. I rang 13 13 20 and re-booked the delivery for friday (today). I was told there was NO PICK-UP ALLOWED at the depot, so I took the day off work in order to stay home and take delivery of my parcel. At 12:30 today i called the number again and asked for a status update. The lady on the other end said it was on board for delivery and would be with me at some time before the end of the day. I thanked her and continued to wait. By 3:30pm I got a bit worried so i called the number again to get a status update. I got through to Helen who kindly offered to call the driver to see when he/she would be at my address. Helen told me the driver has said they ...

Other clever insights.

http://blogs.hbr.org/2012/10/kill-your-business-model-befor/ Kill Your Business Model Before It Kills You by Ron Ashkenas  |   1:01 PM October 2, 2012 About a year ago the U.S. Postal Service ran an ad campaign warning about the dangers of email and proposed paper-mail as a safer and more reliable alternative. When I saw this ad, I thought that I had accidentally switched to a comedy station. But it wasn’t a joke. This was a serious (and misguided) attempt by the U.S. Postal Service to stay in business. Fast forward to last week, when Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe revealed the mail agency will default on its second payment of $5 billion to the US Treasury. Still the agency drags on with its year-old push to end Saturday delivery , the most powerful innovation they can muster — which to be implemented would still take 2 years . This vignette raises a key leadership question: Why do leaders wait too long to modify or abandon their business mod...

Aussie Post spends $250,000 to sack one worker

I really don't give a fuck one way or another - there are people who I like and dislike everywhere...  Attitudes, service, honesty etc..... But I do dislike stand over merchants, and I have seen this sort of shit happen before. https://www.greenleft.org.au/node/36178 Wednesday, August 24, 2005 - 10:00 Sue Bull, Geelong It was revealed in a Senate estimates committee on August 17 that Australia Post spent $250,000 in legal fees to get rid of one worker. Trevor Grenfell worked at the Wendouree Mail Centre in Ballarat for 25 years. When a new mail sorting system was introduced in 2000, Grenfell, like many older workers, found the target of 18 letters per minute pretty hard going. Grenfell managed to build up to 16 or 17 letters per minute, but 18 eluded him. Management monitored his rate for five months, keeping graphs and statistics, pushing him to meet the target. Unlike many other workers, who were intimidated by management...

Australia Post - Nazi Post

W hile Land of the Corporate Nazi - the USA and it's global surveillance program is in full swing, which includes photographing every piece of mail ever sent in the USA, as well as monitoring all the web traffic, emails, phone calls etc., the odd thing is that the 53rd state of Nazi Land, commonly called Australia, with it's shitty postal system, run by a management team who at best do a duplicitious and piss poor job of it, say they don't photograph peoples mail, caveated with "Oh oh but we only RECORD the information if the cops (etc) tell us too." Which is kind of bullshit, as the automated scanning systems LOG all of the names, address's and the WHO FROM and the WHO TOO, information anyway.  Tack on the greasy commonwealth acts that allow the managers of Australia Post to intercept all packages, phone calls, and transmissions such as emails etc., WITHOUT a warrant - then this story in the Herald Scum, just does not quite add up.   http://www.smh.com.au/n...
