Bangs head on desk...

David Choi I recently had to get my passport renewed & I have to raise some concerns on how some of your staff processes such requests. I first had my passport photos taken from a professional store that specializes in them, then downloaded & filled in the required forms. I thought it would be a pretty straight forward process, but boy was I wrong! First stop: Rhodes Post Office. The lady at the counter reje cted my photo, first claiming that I shouldn't have taken it wearing my glasses. I had to point out the section on page 1 of the application form where it clearly stated: "show your eyes clearly through glasses—if you wear them—with no flash reflection off the glasses, and no tinted lenses (if possible, avoid heavy glasses frames—wear lighter framed glasses if you have them)" My photo met all of the above requirements. She then claimed my glasses were creating a “shadow” over the face & told me I had to re-take the photo. Second stop: Wen...

A Day of Intractible Horrors

Fuck me..... Having been hit with the shitty end of the Australia Post stick - I really feel sorry for the people that get fucked around and ripped off by the terds who work in, for and manage Australia Post. The standard of attitude is appalling. This is not to say that the pot of soup is entirely bad, but a big terd floating around in the pot poisons the whole stew. Here we go. This is one of the best ones I have seen in a LONG time..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wensday Maguire Over the many many years I have been a customer of Australia Post and have encountered inadequacy of service which I had not previously considered possible, as well as ignorance and stupidity of monolithic proportions. Please allow me to provide specific details, so that you can either pursue your professional prerogative and seek to rectify these difficulties, or more likely I suspect, so that you can have some entertaining reading material as you while away the working day...

Stealing more than they are delivering - ahem.

Krystal Mu AUSTRALIA POST GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND GET NEW EMPLOYEES..  I AM REALLY SICK AND TIRED OF CALLING UP AND HAVING TO FIX *YOUR* MISTAKES.  TELL YOUR LAZY ASS EMPLOYEES TO STOP LYING AND GET OFF THEIR ASS AND FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS.. INSTEAD OF F***ING AROUND AND SENDING ME IN CIRCLES.  YOU HAVE LOST OVER 100 OF MY PARCEL SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH AND YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING TO RESOLVE THIS .  I AM TRYING TO RUN A BUSINESS HERE. WTF ARE YOU TRYING TO DO? IS THIS HOW YOU RUN A BUSINESS?  YOU ARE CONSTANTLY TELLING OUR CUSTOMERS THAT WE HAVE NOT LODGED A PARCEL IN, THIS MAKES NO SENSE. WHY WOULD WE GO TO THE TROUBLE OF PRINTING OUT A MANIFEST AND PAYING FOR THE PARCEL TO BE POSTED WHEN WE HAVEN'T YET. WHY THE F*** WOULD WE WANT TO PAY FOR NOTHING TO BE SENT OUT?  NOT F***ING HAPPY Juliet Lai Can you please explain to me why my parcels have gone missing and no one seems to be able to give me or my customers a proper answer?...

More fabulous fuck ups on the Australia Post Facebook Page Bianca Gauci Bor g posted to Australia Post Hi aust post can you please explain to me how come this morning whilst I was home - no postman / delivery person rang my door bell to give me my package??? Instead just place a card in the letterbox!?!?!? This is not acceptable!   Chris Reid     Nothing new here Bianca. This happens EVERY time for me.    Latest one is I just received an email from Aust post 10 mins ago, saying they 'attempted delivery' (Um, well they didn't because I'm always at home with my door open) - but this time they sent the email telling me they tried to deliver before even putting the card in my letterbox TELLING ME TO GO COLLECT !!!    Its a joke I actually pay for delivery and (a) they don't attempt at all. (b) I have to waste my time, petrol, and energy going to collect what I paid to be delivered - after 4pm mind you......, then stand in a queue, and come ...

Last year, they got $500 after Australia Post turned a $241 million profit. It was, chief executive Ahmed Fahour said, ''a gesture of goodwill in recognition of employee performance''. ...
