Australia Post profit falls 56% as letters business crashes

http://www.smh.com.au/business/the-economy/australia-post-profit-falls-56-as-letters-business-crashes-20150223-13lxjd.html Fixing this is pretty easy. Hire ME. And I will: Sack Fahour and the useless "bum chum network" of public servants, politicians and greasy palmers, including the executive management and the board of directors: Sack all the nazis that shit in the postal network faces - by poaching customers from the LPO's etc. Flog and beat up the entire legal team and kick their dead beat arses to the kerb. That is saving about $40 million a year in wages, - and another half a billion in shitty INCOME LOSING incompetent managerial practices. Here is the contract: 2 motorbikes - a 250cc for city riding and 1100cc for Australia wide travel. A single bedroom unit - or a bed and shower in the work office. $50K a year plus expenses. All of the executive do one week a month - delivering mail and parcels. The postal theft rate will drop to ZERO. No scum minimum lowest wages...

The retards of the Australia Post Social Media Customer Care Team & their Silicon Sex Doll.

Image
LOL Fuck I hate this crew.... The lick stick copy paste replies... 10 lines of text to say nothing. Buck pass it to nowhere. Deleting peoples posts and threads on their Facebook page - and now they have crowded out the complaints about shit being stolen by using endless pictures and "happy times" bullshit - and people have just given up - because they all know it's crap. It's just another sleazy way to bury the complaints, rather than dealing with them.  Smother them and ignore them... Well their latest round of stupidity - and stupid people have to do something REALLY stupid to top all of the really, really stupid shit, they have been doing so far.... Well they have succeeded themselves this time. You see I am not a fan of Facebook or the social media crapfest.... "So and so tweeted such and such" - Oh masturbate, masturbate.... The people running Google have decided that everyone ought to be included in their Google + social media team - for the happy happ...

More Big Spenders say "Bah!"

I was talking to a guy who holds the purse strings for a business - and it is a lot of purse, it is a big business; about how many people I know of, who have been getting packages stolen in the mail.... He just looks at me, and stares for a moment, and then says, "Bah! Australia Post? Who uses them these days?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Reminders are sent by SMS and email, deliveries come by private couriers and freight companies, from suppliers who use private couriers and freight companies. They also know the value in avoiding bad management and the unwelcome costs of others incompetence.

Fastway Couriers wins national marketing award - and Australia Post sux bad.

Image
This is really great to hear - because it means that the more market share that private couriers get, then  Australia Post and it's idiot management - well the people are "un-hiring" them as fast as they can, and the more market share these incompetent bureaucratic retards lose. For my defintion of retard - see this: http://suker-punch.blogspot.com.au/2015/02/i-have-redefined-definnition-of-retarded.html http://www.fastway.com.au/about-us/media-releases/19-about-us/media-releases/370-fastway-couriers-wins-national-marketing-award Fastway Couriers wins national marketing award Fastway Couriers has won the coveted "NAB Franchise Council of Australia 2012 Excellence in Marketing Award" for its nationwide brand revitalisation project. Fastway Couriers CEO, Richard Thame, who accepted the award in Canberra last night, says the locally-designed brand refresh has contributed to a strong year for the courier franchise. This is an earlier post in it's entiriety - from Product Review.

This dump it and bump it feature is becoming more and more common with users of Australia Post.... The customer and suppliers get fucked around badly, the customers refuse to have any more deliveries by Australia Post, and they go and tell all of the people / companies who they buy stuff off, that if you continue to send my packages by Australia Post, then we will not be buying anything, anymore from you. They are telling it to all their suppliers - because they are just so totally sick of the bullshit. The suppliers are getting lots of feedback from lots of other customers. And the suppliers are changing to NON Australia Post Couriers.... There is a real sting in the tail about this: What the management of Australia Post say: http://auspost.com.au/business-solutions/domestic-shipping-for-businesses.html Does your business send parcels within Australia? We're here to help. Australia Post has been in business for over 200 years, and we deliver to 11.2 million delivery points acros...

Australia Post vs. Product Review Postings.

This is really interesting.... Many people have expressed the desire to vote ZERO stars or a NEGATIVE amount of stars. The inability to do this biases the voting. Australia Post (overall) 2.2 stars out of 720 reviews. http://www.productreview.com.au/p/australia-post.html Australia Post's Eparcel. 1.4 stars out of 161 reviews http://www.productreview.com.au/p/australia-post-eparcel.html Australia Post's Load and Go prepaid visa card. 1.5 stars from 38 reviews. http://www.productreview.com.au/p/load-go-reloadable-visa-prepaid-card.html These are odd....  You see if things are genuinely GOOD, AVERAGE or BAD, the ratings or averages per say 100 reviews, will generally tend to reflect to a degree, the quality of the service. But when there are only a few votes in, and they range from TOTALLY GLOWING 5 star reviews, and ONE STAR - BAD service; and there is nothing in between.... Could it be that Australia Posts grubby social media team, and their consumate lying and bullshitting, hav...

1.4 stars - 161 posts - productreview.com.au - australia post eparcel

This is sooo bad it's funny..... Seriously. I think almost all of the gripes, either wholly or in part, raise a bunch of serious issues.  A few tend to think that parcels ought to be teleported and arrive on the doorstep within minutes of ordering - from one side of Australia or the other... This frantic "just in time" modern way of operating - has both good things and things that shit me.. It shits me how some people expect everything to be dropped then and there for them, and for it to arrive immediately, all the time. But in the world of commerce and human frailties, faculties and finess, there does exist and always has done so, a market for speedy deliveries, for those who are prepared to pay, in exchange by those who are prepared to provide a premium service. And there are issues and delays from time to time with all services.   But when the promise or undertaking, is to have the package from A to B in say 2 business days, in a city to city kind of a way, well a day ...

When calling Australia Post....

Remember: Have a hands free phone, with a decent loud speaker and a HUGE battery life. Have another few extra jobs lined up... First dial the Australia Post phone number at the start of business. And while on hold and waiting and listening to all their recorded messages... Jack the truck up.... and start pulling out the gear box.... Have morning tea. Go root the Mrs.... Get the gear box out. Go for lunch. Clean the work area. Use another mobile to call about gear box spares. And And And And And

Call to Australia Post - About Secure Pay

LOL x Double Duh.

Australia Post's bullshit "investigation" with stolen parcels.

http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=37347 They lost/stole $120 worth of my tobacco in the lead up to xmas.    Apparently I signed for it, even though I was in a meeting about 100km away at the time that the tracking says it was signed for.    They launched an investigation, but the postie is adamant that he delivered it to the right address. Strange thing is that the tracking history says "carded", and then a minute later there is an event to say it was signed for.    Who knows what happened, but it's made me feel a lot less secure about buying things online. Sometimes I spend several hundred dollars online in one purchase, and if even registered post is no guarantee that I'll actually receive it, then I'm going to feel very anxious about these larger purchases.      Followed by:     As someone who's just left Australia Post in the past few days I can tell you they are beyond ...

This deserves air time....

http://www.owerhall.bigpondhosting.com/undelivered/start.html When does 'delivered' really mean, DELIVERED! Australia Post Registered Mail Delivery Loop-hole Scam!   The Problem: 1. I was puzzled why registered post mail items that I had sent or was expecting had never arrived at their destinations. 2. For example, my Real Estate Agent sent me a letter by registered post and it took "2" (two) weeks for me to receive it!. As result of me not receiving the letter and since I had no knowledge of the sent legal documents contained in that letter which was a 'Notice' to conduct a routrine inspection, next thing I know I was summoned to appear before VCAT to answer why I havent allowed the landlord entry as shown in the proper "Notice" 3. I was also puzzled as to why I havent received mail from Australia Post on numerous occations or have any of my mail being delivered and or 'redirected' as pu...

I was thinking about ALL this bullshit - "registered mail" - "Tracking" etc....

Image
It mainly had to do with my set of bicycle rims "apparently" being stolen in transit, care of Australia Post... 4 weeks for a "guaranteed" 2 day delivery.... and they are still not here. And I thought about all the being fucked around bullshit - as bad as it is.. Essentially Australia Post is an open door, "Theft Fest" for people who like to steal..... And it occurred to me, that EVERYTHING should be tracked. The tracking system SHOULD fucking work... And every receipt should come with a tracking number on it... And that is all there it too it. And you should not have to pay extra..... 200 years of lame brain Aussie management, and "Ohh fuck - if you didn't pay extra for tracking - then non one knows where it is." That is except for the fuck working for Australia Post, who stole it. They know where it is. At home for a few months and then onto Ebay, Sunday Markets, etc... So what is paying extra for tracking and registered mail etc... "I...

The Folks at Choice Magazine are side lining Australia Post too.

http://www.choice.com.au/reviews-and-tests/money/shopping-and-legal/shopping/best-international-postal-service.aspx   01. Posting parcels overseas   Sending parcels overseas is expensive. If you've ever packaged up presents to send to loved ones abroad, you've probably had a bit of a shock when told the price at the post office. But with the boom in online shopping, Australia Post now competes with several other parcel providers. So, are there viable alternatives to Australia Post for international parcels? To find out, we sent some Tim Tams to an expat in the United States through five different postal providers: Australia Post SkippyPost Pack & Send Interparcel Ship2Anywhere . We also checked prices for a range of locations and parcel weights. What we found: For lightweight packages (up to 5kg), Australia Post was generally the cheapest (and the most straightforward) but SkippyPost had some slightly cheaper rates on certain routes. For heavier packages...
