A hmed doesn't love me. He doesn't return my calls. Is it because he is too damned dense? Or hasn't got the balls?

Australia Post - The last leg of the delivery? No fucking way....

A delivery: Company QLD. Purchase - selected delivery method - COURIER. (not Australia Post) Usual delivery routing, interstate, regional courier depot and on forwarding by courier from there. Unexpected onforwarding from the interstate courier delivery centre, into the hands of Australia Post. Some smart fucking calls, and get the delivery diverted out out of the Australia Post network - and then transfer it to another delivery service. There are some good reasons why the courier companies are buying more trucks and employing more drivers and people are waving Australia Post and some of the local posties goodbye - and the "last leg" is on it's last legs - and I can name them. The sadistic irony of it all. Australia Post - The last leg of the delivery? No fucking way....

LETTER: Australia Post continues to downgrade its services

http://www.qt.com.au/news/australia-post-continues-to-downgrade-its-services/3028693/ I LIVE on my own land at South Ripley on the edge of what is now a thriving community. Here, I enjoy all the benefits of being close to suburbia without being part of it. This is great, except for one fly in the ointment; Australia Post refuses to deliver small parcels to my home. This includes mail order items that I have to pay postage on. I have to travel into Raceview post office (an 18km trip), to pick up items that I have paid to be delivered to my home. This also includes registered letters. When the once great Australia Post was contacted about the problem their response was "that it is not the policy of Australia post to deliver parcels to homes". As my friends would say: "this surely can't be right". Is it no wonder that this once great Australian icon is now going down the gurgler due to privatization. Am I just a crusty old whinger who expects the service that I pay...

Selling off $1.5 bilion starting at $300million - Fat Head Fahour fleeces the public for our property.

Maybe I am a bit of a dumb cunt, but to me, selling off public property (The post offices), that Fat Head Fahour DOES NOT OWN, i.e. it's not his to sell off; and then renting them back from the people you sold it too, just does not seem to make sense. To me, retaining possession of the public property, and then renting out the unused space, or if the building is largely vacant, renting the whole thing out, creates a source of perpetual income, rather than a quick sale cash grab, with a complete loss of all future revenue. I am not privy to the entire broad view of each commercial and residential market, but in terms of clear profit after costs, I'd assume that the annual rental income would would be a substantial portion of the sale price. And the repeated rental income over the longer term, would more than exceed the instant cash grab fire sale price, of things that are not Fat Head's to sell. And while I might be a dumb cunt, I can at least figure out that Fat Head imbues...

How Fahour is wiping out the LPO operators.

1.  The BIG picture break up and sell off of Australia Post, was to break up The PMG or The Post Master General - by separating the phone services and the Postal Services - into Australia Post and Telecom (and then Telstra). 2. The first move to break up and sell off Australia Post it's self, was to stop the Post Offices, from being "Australia Post" post offices, and then to sell off the rights to operate them, as "LICENSED Post Office (LPO) operators, making the staff change from being Australia Post employees, into franchisees. 3. The next tactic was to deliberately under pay them - while Fahour was getting multimillion dollar bonus's - irrespective of the losses he is helping to create with his dumb ideas. 4. Wiping out the posted letter system, altogether by joining higher costs with slower delivery times. 5. And giving all the LPO's parcel deliveries to Startrack couriers.... It means he hasn't had to risk a public brawl, they all just slowly go brok...

Malicious Obedience

I mean this is kind of pointless - but I like the idea, because spite can be a very enjoyable act. You know how you post a letter or small package - and it was all certified as correct when you posted it - weight, dimensions, volume and price... And then 3 weeks later, at the receivers end, someone in Australia Post, has declared that you under paid the postage by 10c, and so they filled out a post card, sized card, sent it all the way, back through the network to your address. And the message on the card says to spend 20 minutes of your own time and expense, taking yourself and this card, to the local post office, and pay the 10c shortfall in postage, with an additional $2.30 administrative fee..... Now mindful of how many people have had thousands of dollars worth of their shit stolen by Australia Post, and enormous amounts of time and money spent picking up stuff that was supposed to have been delivered, and all the calls to Australia Post that have had you on hold for days and week...

Turnbull - transparent as a terd.

http://www.malcolmturnbull.com.au/media/Australia-Post Sam 2014. Minister Turnbull talks a lot about transparency or some lack of it. Here are some transparent truths. The last increase in the BPR stamp from 60c to 70c or 16.6% has in real terms added 5-7% income to LPO's. The Senate Inquiry into Aust Post found LPO's underpaid by 33-40%, $966million over the last 5 financial years dividend paid to the Gov, where is the transparency? Rural Sustainability Package RSP has been sold in the media as adding $40million to the LPO's payments, in real terms the increase is no more than $2million over 1500 rural LPO's, where is the transparency? Aust Post has acquired 100% of the Startrack business and is in the process of removing parcels from the LPO network wherever possible, "if the profitable parcels business were to be spun off who is left to pick up the tab for the retail network and the declining letters business?" where is the transparency?  "To...

After reading this, would you do business with Australia Post?

A thread on the Australia Post Facebook page: Scum Customer. When the guaranteed next day parcel delivery, fails and the package gets there some time after this, and the guarantee is limited to replacement of the satchel, who is supposed to make the claim for the satchel - the sender or the receiver? And where and how are they supposed to do it? And why are the people in this organisation, not including a replacement satchel, with every late delivery - so that people don't have to get more of Australia Posts legendary "run around"? Australia Post. Thank you for contacting us about the Express Post service and how to claim a delayed delivery. I'll happy to answer your questions. When an Express Post article is not delivered as guaranteed, the sender must submit the claim for a postage refund. Claims can be made over the phone on 13 13 18 or online through our support portal at http://auspo.st/1JMange. When a claim is made, we need to assess the from and to location bef...

Australia Post says: "How to manage your social media identity and reputation"

Facebook fighting: Christine Porter Sorry Australia Post. Are you my mother now ? How about Yu concentrate on delivering mail and I'll concentrate on keeping my identity safe - I'll have to, because most of my clients and suppliers aren't interested in paying double for their postage any more and are all insisting on email. Hmmm The thread continues:   Neil Solomons Prepare to wait 'On Hold' for 45+ minutes and still not have your call answered. Absolutely Shocking Service. Neil Solomons Wow, finally get through only to be treated like an idiot, spoken down to and then when I explain to the guy I have had stuff sent a lot and I know how it works to get attitude from him. WTF happened to customer service skills? Sean Berry So you can post this and put money into doing this but you can't update your systems so packages dont get lost or lower prices to compete with other companies? What a joke!!

Guaranteed Next Day Delivery - Fat Head Fahour can't count.

Image
These lying arseholes are still pulling this caper. This little asterisk " * " is the fucking cop out clause. The tricky fine print, is NOT a guarantee, to actually deliver the product, by the next day, on the listed "high frequency, heavy traffic" routes. The guarantee is - IF they,"Australia Post" do not deliver the item the next day, AND if your prepared to cue up at the post office for 20 minutes during your lunch break, or to stay on hold for an hour and a half, on the phone,or to go online and go through tons of bullshit rigmarole to establish an online account with Australia Posts idiot online portal - where you are chasing them up, that they, will supply you, with a replacement satchel... I assume that this includes conditions such as including proof of purchase, including the tracking number, allowing Australia Post 10 days to investigate the issue - and then not get back to you, and then you have to make numerous attempts to contact them.... and ...

The feed back for Australia Post on Product review is dismal and accellerating.

Nearly 1300 out of nearly 1800 reviews rate Australia Post as terrible. It's spread over 148 web pages, and about 350 questions. http://www.productreview.com.au/p/australia-post.html http://www.productreview.com.au/qa/australia-post.html I think the reason why so many people are putting their postings and questions on this forum - which I started by the way - is because the people in Australia Post have just so totally fucked up their Facebook page by these methods. They cram a contact site, with advertisements. (What did I hear that right? Yeah - you did) They delete threads. They lie, bullshit and give people the run around. The answers are typically lip service bullshit.. So I get the sense that not only are people running away from Australia Post in droves - but given how badly Fat Head Fahour and his team of termites are running everything - all the Australia Post communication channels - in their all pervasive stupidity and the failure to take action - and how much time wasti...

I talked to another business owner - who used to deal with Australia Post - but..

He said the hassles and the costs and the problems of using Australia Post were so bad, that they were gouging him every way and anyway they could like charging by volume instead of weight on boxes of work boots, promising the old "Guaranteed Next Day Delivery Scam" and when that fucks up and the package arrives 5 days later, Australia Post refuses to credit him on the postage.... And on and on - for a little bit, but he said he had endless bad stories about Australia Post. And the summary of his experiences was this: That he gives them $250,000 worth of business a year; and He has been doing all he can, to get as much of his business out of Australia Post - and into other services. He and so many other business owners I have talked too - all want to remove Australia Post from their supply chain.

I salute this guy - he does good work.

I left out all the fun stuff, and pictures and shit - the words and subject matter are interesting enough by themselves... https://www.glenstephens.com/snjanuary16.html January 2016 “Let Them Eat Cake”       Whilst letter, and parcel, and overseas mail prices skyrocket, and local mail delivery time performances schedules are in total disarray due to near non-functioning new sorting equipment - the Boss of Australia Post is splurging out $4.5 million expanding his massive mansion! Australia’s highest-paid public servant, Ahmed Fahour, plans to spend $4.5 million - the value of a most sizeable prestige home anywhere in this country - just on extending his Hawthorn mansion in the Melbourne suburb of Hawthorn. Shades of -  “Nero Fiddles, Whilst Rome Burns.” Fahour bought the “Invergowrie” Manor two years ago for just over $A20 million, reported the Domain property tracking website in November.  A few year’s pay, bonuses, and the inevitable massive payout when h...

I was talking to someone recently.....

Who said that rather than send their dads watch, via Australia Post, they chose to drive it all the way to Melbourne and back That is two trips of 500K each - rather than risk it getting into the hands of the thieves in Australia Post...

Fahour - you fucking idiot.

I mean seriously. What is the fucking point of going all the way to an under staffed post office, standing in a cue for 20 minutes - because 2/3rd of the staff take their rostered lunch break during the busiest hour of the day, and paying for some kind of an exhorbitantely expensive post pack, that not only is it either not getting there (stolen), it's been delivered to the wrong address, the recipient gets carded - or not even carded at all, then it's returned to sender, the tracking is an extra cost and it's fucking worthless, the parcel - which is sold as a "guaranteed next day delivery" takes 3 weeks and goes all around Australia, before it arrives in the next suburb... And then people are supposed to put up with phone cues an hour to an hour and a half long, only to get lied too, get given the run around from sunrise to sunset, with a possible refund, in the form of a replacement satchel... after the fuck up.... Putting aside the issue of the planned and care...

Australia Post parcels doing laps of Australia before delivery

Image
This is a really good article - a compendium of the lying and bullshit which you get when dealing with Australia Post - and it's retarded termites. And the trouble is, so many completely unconnected people, are saying the exact same things.... And have been doing so for a long, long, time...... http://www.smh.com.au/business/consumer-affairs/australia-post-parcels-doing-laps-of-australia-before-delivery-20160510-goqncy.html Complaints are mounting about Australia Post's parcel delivery service and an automatic scanning system that sends parcels thousands of kilometres in the wrong direction, or refuses to recognise home addresses that have been used for decades. And a tough approach to under-paid mail has started turning people off letters, with one distressed lady saying she now lumps her beloved postal service "in the same basket as the big banks and electricity companies". Australia Post introduced a new two-speed letter delivery service earlier this ye...

I hope people are saving full copies of this blog for research and historical purposes.

This blog is a compendium of "Australia Post" + "shit" - in almost every possible sense, of the word "shit". If it was a book, the closest blend of three books - no make that four books, would be "Mein Kampf", Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas", "1984" and Animal Farm". Topped off with a movie called "Eraser Head".... I think it should be published and used as an educational resource in all subjects, like maths, economics, statistics, psychology, law, business management, customer relations, politics / political science, etc... But like I always had a penchant for seeing what people had to say for themselves, and like Adolf Hitler - instead of reading things that were said about him, I wanted to see what he had to say for himself... So time, space and history all lined up - with me in a book shop and Mein Kampf on the shelves in front of me = purchase. Conclusion - "Worst Book Ever Written" - it wasn't for...

A. Fahour = A Failure = A Non Mailur

This story is a pearler... The missing marriage paperwork meant it was now illegal for them to wed. “It caused my wife a lot of trauma,” said Mr Cominos. “She broke down and just cried and cried you’ve got these a***holes denying everything and then they add insult to injury to only give me a lousy $13 to make up for it.” "These arseholes fucking everything up and then denying everything" - that is Australia Post and it's idiot CEO summed up in one sentence." This story makes me feel like crying too.... Australia Post is like a horribly bad dark comedy - which is really funny - kind of like Fawlty Towers or Black Adder etc., that is until your the one getting handed the script, and have to play a part in it.. Then it's not so fucking funny. http://www.news.com.au/finance/business/other-industries/australia-post-accused-of-almost-ruining-wedding-day-after-marriage-documents-went-missing/news-story/86917286b0b79b2e2f98f083ebf6b43a Australia Post accused of almo...
