I seriously wonder where this is going to end.

When I first started this blog, after some REALLY shitty, nasty psyco service from a few LPO operators, I found the staff at the Australia Post head office were appalling. Lying, buck passing, stone walling, game playing, refusing to return calls etc.. That is right through to the management level too. The organisation has proven to be as corrupt as. And over the years..... The Australia Post service IS geting worse. The delivery speeds are dropping off a cliff. The carding is a national disgrace. The rates of theft are almost exceeding the amount of packages. The customer service is beyond bullshit - with the official blessing to close and delete the customer complaints about theft etc... I mean THAT is just fucking bullshit. And the customers ARE insanely angry - and leaving by the droves... Fahour has been doing nothing but "creative accounting", and his style of figures fudging, only works for a little while. So where too from here?

Australia Post tries to beat Office Works by ONLY matching their prices.

Couriers vs. Australia Post.

$16 for 20Kg all around Victoria with the couriers delivering the next day or soon after, vs. 3Kg for $14 with Afailure Post, their sloooooow deliveries, stuff getting stolen, and the go fuck yourself customer service No question who I am going to use really.   https://www.rockby.com.au/freightinfo.htm

Aus Post makes me wonder if I am actually living in 21st century or not

http://www.productreview.com.au/p/australia-post.html Sarah J. Brisbane 2 reviews Aus Post makes me wonder if I am actually living in 21st century or not  1 out of 5, reviewed on Apr 29, 2017 Ok, Aus Post. You sent the bills so slow that they were delivered after the due date, but ok! we solved this by contacting the companies. You sent our stuff to other people's house so we had to go pick them up, yeah, that's ok. But. BUT. I ordered a gift for my mum's birthday, and I expected it to arrive this week. Today's my mum's birthday and there's nothing. Well, I'm left with an angry mother for sure! Seriously. From where the items were posted to where I live, it takes about 3 hours by car. Why do you charge us so much when you're not really doing your work. How come the international postage fee from Canada and Mexico, from another continent, is cheaper than domestic ones? I don't really understand.

Long Jetty Australia Post Double Dipping Charges & Disgusting Customer Service

Wow - the story that follows, is a bad one.... Even I cringed... (slightly edited with paragraphing, to enhance readability) http://www.productreview.com.au/p/australia-post.html f2d4 long jetty 2 reviews 4 comments 2 helpful votes Long Jetty Australia Post Double Dipping Charges & Disgusting Customer Service  1 out of 5, reviewed on Apr 28, 2017 Today 27 /04 received collection card in letterbox to collect returned package, went to LONG JETTY AUSTRALIA POST which I always try to avoid as they are the worst when it comes to customer service, hand over my card asked for signature, once i sign their little scanner he quickly pulls back the package from counter by staff member [name removed]. Then he requests I pay $3.00 for the return of the item as he states The Australia post store that has returned it from Queensland wants their $3 back for resending back to me as it was uncollected from their store by the impending receiver, I disagree but basically won't be given the satchel...

Seriously - this shit makes my day.

I think the main thing is that these horrendous "dramas" for want of a better name, are better than the crap on Free to Air TV... I mean it's NOT funny at all.... especially if the people in Australia Post try to hand you the shitty end of the stick and then try to get away with it... But it's great fun heckling from the side lines.. "LOSAAAARRRRRSSSSS - Ahhh Haaaa Haaaaa - Ya fucked that up didn't ya.... Ahhh Haaa Haaa Haaa" And it's a positive thing to see people standing up for themselves... Not taking the bullshit from Australia Post... Good on them.

http://www.productreview.com.au/p/australia-post.html Jovana 1 review 2 helpful votes Lost Item - Received Someone Else's goods.  1 out of 5, reviewed on Apr 28, 2017 Australia Post lost my parcel and instead sent me someone else' package which was damaged and soaking wet. I am then told to take this package to their "corporate" post office so that they can process my claim. The staff there have no idea of the process and issue me a "complaint form" with receipt number that now does not exist anywhere. I am now told after being ignored for 2+ weeks that the $1400 designer dress will only receive a $50 compensation. Australia post also does not scan express post satchels on receipt to avoid being pena lised for late parcels. As such people who pay premium for express cannot "prove" that the parcel is late as it only shows the date it was received. Absolute disgrace and deceitful business practice. But I will be accurate with my most recent experience. WARNING - my tone expressed is one of numbness - I think I am suffering some kind of post traumatic stress disorder that will never be cured. I bought an item located in Melbourne. The sender packed the item and sent it as per normal processes via an Australia Post outlet. Nothing sinister here. The parcel then starts it journey - first stop Sunshine West [insert chamber of hell]. It then passes through this facility with surp rising haste (about 24hrs) and makes it way to Chullora NSW [insert chamber of hell 2]. Now you can do something about it. Please lodge a complaint with the Commonwealth Ombudsman regarding the issues you are having with them. First lodge a complaint through Australia Post (very important), then go directly to the ombudsman if you are not satisfied. How will this help you? Every complaint you raise costs Australia Post a lot of money, that's how the ombudsman receives its funding. So it is in Australia Post's bests interests for complaints to be resolved in house. And they don't seem to be doing that well at the moment. I am frustrated waiting on registered mail that is lost within the Australian Post system, or taking longer than 2 weeks to arrive interstate, and the very poor service received by them in trying to find it. My husband, who just had a surgery in the hospital 2 weeks ago and still very weak, had to walk a street away to collect the parcel by himself from the truck. He feels uncomfortable after back and told me what happened. I just couldn't understand, if a parcel is too heavy for the delivery man and they don't want to take it, then is MUCH MUCH HEAVY for a surgery patient. How could they do this? Calling the cops on Aussie Post

http://www.productreview.com.au/p/australia-post.html Vanessa 1 review 2 helpful votes Stolen parcel with them refusing to help until I had to call the police  1 out of 5, reviewed on Apr 27, 2017 A very expensive pair of boots my sister sent to me from the states necessitated $130.00 in express posting with a tracking number. Please can you quit with the processing and start with the delivering? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Why stop now? Your leading the pack! (Of people who's parcels, have been reprocessed multiple times so far) Of course this speaks volumes for the low intelligence of the Australia Post management and their brainless software, and worthless tracking.
